With the exception of rheumatoid arthritis, autoimmune diseases are associated with an increased risk of poor pregnancy outcome. Myasthenia gravis is also an autoimmune disorder, characterized by the presence of anti-acetylcholine receptor immunoglobulin G antibldies. During pregnancy the clinical course of myasthinia gravis is usually not a steady state, and influeuces of myasthenia gravis on pregnancy outcome are variable. Instability oof mysathenia gravis during pregnancy is highlighted by gestation related exacerbations identified in about half of cases. We expericnced a case of myasthenia gravis associated with pregnancy who under went cesarean section and had a post-partum exacerbation. We present this case with a biref review of literatures.
