저자들은 산전진찰중 임신 25주에 실시한 초음파 검사상 직경 약 10cm의 천미골종괴를 발 견하여 자궁절개술의 시행으로 피막이 파열된 천미골 종괴를 가진 태아의 임신을 종결시킨 후 조직검사에 의해 천미골 기형종으로 확진된 1례를 경험하였기에 이를 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.

Sacrococcygeal teratoma(SCT) is usually detected on prenatal ultrasonographic examination. The most common finding is a mass in the area of the sacrum and buttocks. Other mases found in the same area include meningocele, chordoma, neurogenic tumor, lipoma, rhabdomyosarcoma, and hemangioma. We have met a case of large sacrococcygeal teratoma iwht ruptured capsule of fetus at pregnancy 25 weeks. So we reported this case with the brief review of literatures.
