저자들은 최근 본원 산부인과에서 환자의 조직표본상 난소에 발생한 희귀한 평활근종 2예를 폐경기후 여성에서 경험하였기에 간단한 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.

Accounting for only 1% of benign ovarian tumors, leiomyoma of the ovary is rare benign neoplasm characterized by smooth muscle cell proliferation. Fewer than 50 cases have been described in the literature. This neoplasm is usually found incidentally on routine pelvic examination at surgery, or at biopsy. We present two cases of ovarian leiomyoma in 80-year-old and 81-year-old woman which have been experienced in our hospital with brief review of literature.
