Pseudomyxoma peritonei is a rare clinical entity in which the peritoneal surface and omentum are involved with gelatinous mucinous implants. It originates from ruptured mucinous tumors of the appendix or ovary. A case of pseudomyxoma peritonei originated from mucinous cystadenoma of ovary is reported with the brief of literature.
