난소의 악성혼합 M ller종양은 매우 희귀한 난소종양으로, 폐경기 이후의 여성에서 주로 발생하며, 그 예후가 매우 치명적이고 진단 당시 이미 진행된 경우가 대부분이므로 조기에 발견하여 적극적인 치료를 하는 것이 매우 중요하다. 최근 본원 산부인과에서는 병리조직학적 검사상 malignant mixed m llerian tumor로 진단한 1례를 경험하여 현재 수술 후 CYVADIC 항암제 요법을 시행중이며, 종양 표시물질인 CEA, CA-125 등으로 경과 관찰중이다. 앞으로 환자의 치료 결과 및 합병증, 예후 등에 관하여 자세히 고찰해보기에 앞서 매우 희귀한 증례이므로 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.

Malignant mixed mesodermal (Mullerian) tumor of the ovary is a rare neoplasm which, since the 1950s, has been recognized clinically and pathologically as an entity distinct from immature teratoma and teratocarcinoma. The reported series of mixed mesodermal tumor have been small, but they have stressed the occurrence of these neoplasms in postmenopausal, often nulliparous women. At diagnosis, the tumor usually advanced stage, and the clinical course is rapidly fatal. Histologically, the tumor is composed of pluripotent epithelial and variable mesenchymal derivatives fo mesoderm. The authors had experienced one case of malignant mixed mesodermal tumor. So we report above case with brief review of the literature.
