Granulosa cell tumors are low grade malignancies, the majority of which are confined one ovary at the time of diagnosis. The prognosis for the these patients is good and long term wurvival rates have been reported. But about 15% of patients who have cystic granulosa cell tumors are first examined for acute abdomens associated with hemoperitoneum. We present a case of ruptured granulosa cell tumor with brief review of literature.
