1987년 10월부터 1988년 10월사이에 이화여자대학병원 산부인과에서 치료한 24례의 폐경환 자를 대상으로 1일 0.625mg의 경구접합난포호르몬 치료군과 1일 1.25mg의 경구접합난포호 르몬 치료군과 1일 1.25mg의 경구접합난포호르몬 치료군에서 3개월간 복용후 혈청 esteradiol,FSH, 지질 및 지질단백의 변동을 비교분석하여 다음과 같은 결론은 얻었다. 1. 접합 난포호르몬 0.625mg치료군 과 1.25mg치료군의 치료후 혈청 estradiol치의 변동은 각 각 53.95+-13.91pg/ml, 71.48+-20.8pg/ml로 치료전보다 증가하였으나 두 치료군간의 치료후 변 동간의 유의한 차이는 없었다. 2. 난포호르몬 치료후 혈청 FSH의 변동은 치료군 I, II에서 각각 50.07+-15.79mIU/ml, 58.98+-9.34mIU/ml로 치료전보다 감소하였으나 두 치료군간의 치료후 변동간에는 유의한 차 이가 없었다. 3. 난포호르몬 치료후 혈청 cholesterol치의 변동은 치료군 I에서 18.75+-4.92pg/ml, 치료군 II 에서 4.75+-10.24pg/dl로 치료전보다 감소하였고, 두 치료군간의 치료후 변동간에는 유의한 차이가 없었다. 4. 난포호르몬 치료후 혈청 triglyceride치의 변동은 치료군 I에서 46.83+-24.62pg/dl치료군 II에 서 33.42+-17.19pg/dl로 치료전보다 감소하였으며 두 치료군간의 치료후 변동간의 유의한 차 이가 없었다. 5. 난포호르몬 치료후 HDL의 변동은 치료군 I에서 4.92+-3.40pg/dl, 치료군 II에서 9.67+-6.41pg/dl 로 치료전보다 증가하였고, 두 치료군간의 치료후 치료후 변동간에는 유의한 차이가 있었다. 6. 난포호르몬 치료후 혈청 HDL과 cholesterol비는 치료군 I에서 6.01+-1.64%, 치료군 II에서 6.33+-2.53%로 치료전 보다 증가하였으나 두 치료군간의 치료후 변동간에는 유의한 차이가 없었다.
