저자들은 1973년 1월부터 1986년 12월가지 KRITRD에 등록, 화학요법 치료를 받은 환자 548 예중 고위험군 융모상피종양으로 분류되어 고위험군 화학요법제 치료를 받은 환자 176예를 대상으로 combination therapy 49예, MAC regimen 40예, EMA-Co regimen 45예 및 CHAMOCA regimen 42예를 실험군으로 나누어 각 약제들의 특성을 임상적 측면에서 비교관 찰하기 위해 약제에 대한 종양의 반응, 약제독성, 약제내성, 경쾌율, 경쾌까지의 치료횟수 및 율을 통계적으로 분석하여 다음과 같은 결론은 얻었다. 1. 초회화학요법 후의 종양의 반응은 EMA-Co regimen군 및 CHAMOCA regimen군이 combination therapy 군 및 MAC regimen군보다 양호했다. 2. 화학요법제에 따른 약제독성은 헤모글로빈 독성의 경우 중증독성인 Grade 3 Grade4의 비교관찰에서 EMA-Co regimen군이 가장 독성이 약했으며 나머지 군에 비교는 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 없었다. 3. 화학요법제 치료중 약제내성을 보인 경우는 EMA-Co regimen군이 가장 적었고, 그 다음 이 CHAMOCA regimen 군이었으며 combination therpay군이 가장 많았다. 4. 화학요법제에 따른 경쾌율은 EMA-Co regimen군이 91.9%로 가장 높앗고 CHAMOCA regimen군이 76.2%, MAC regimen 군이 67.5% 및 combination therapy군이 63.3%순이었다. 5. 화학요법제에 따른 경쾌후의 재발율은 EMA-Co regimen군이 4.9%로써 combination therapy군 12.9%, MAC regimen 군 14.8% 및 CHAMOCA regimen군 12.5%에 비해 낮았으나 통계학적으로 유의한 차가 없었다.

In order to compare the clinical Characteristics of 4 different high risk regimens, we performed this study on 49 cases with combination therapy, 40 cases with MAC regimen, 45 cases with EMA-Co regimen and 42 cases with CHAMOCA regimen who were registed at the Korean Research Institute of Trophoblastic Disease in Catholic University Medical College from January 1973 to December 1986. We obtained the following results; 1. Tumor response after innitial chemotherpay in EMA-Co regimen group and CHAMOCA regimen group showed better response that in combination therapy group . 2. In comparison of hematologic toxicity, hemoglobin value was significantly decreeaed. EMA-Co regimen group had the lest toxicity when compared with other groups. MAC regimen group had the most severe gastrointestinal toxicity when compared with combination therapy group and EMA-Co regimen group . 3. Durg resistance of chemotherapy was the lowest in EMA-Co regimen group and the highest in combination therapy group . 4. Remission rate according to chemotherapeutic regimen was 9.1% in EMA-Co regimen group , 76.2% in CHAMOCA regimen group , 67.5% in MAC regimen group and 63.3% in combination therapy group . Mean course of chemotherapy until remission was the lowest in EMA-Co regimen group and the highest in MAC regimen group.
