기종질염은 비교적 드물지만, 그 진단이 용이하고 임상적으로 흥미있는 질환이다 정확하게 해명되지 못한 발병기전과 임신, 타질염, 심폐질환과의 관련성은 계속적인 연구과제가 될 수 있다 이에, 본원 산부인과에서 경험한, 심장질환자에게 발생한 기종질염 1례를 보고하였다
