The Author measured FDP, fibrinogen and platelet count in 52 toxemia pregnancy and in 54 normal pregnancy at the time of admission. The purpose of this measurement is to know the change of FDP, fibrinogen and platelet count in toxemia pregnancy and in normal pregnancy. The following results were obtained. 1. Fibrinogen was 423±99mg/dl in normal pregnancy and 360±88mg/dl in pre-eclampsia. The level of fibrinogen in pre-eclampsia group was significantly decreased than that of the normal pregnancy(p<0.05). 2. FDP was 19±14㎍/ml in normal pregnancy and 19±12㎍/ml in pre-eclampsia. The level of FDP demonstrated no significant difference between normal pregnancy and pre-eclampsia(p>0.01). 3. Platelet count was 367±109(X1000) in normal pregnancy and 299±69(X1000) in pre-eclampsia. The level of platelet count in pre-eclampsia group was significantly decreased than that of the normal pregnancy group(p<0.05).
