The malignant mixed mullerian tumor of the coupus uteri is a highly malignant and rapid growing tumor originating from Mullerian potential and mesenchymal tissue. It consists of epithelial and stromal elements. According to stromal elements, it is divided to homologous type(carcinosarcoma) and heterologous type (mixed mesenchymal tumor). Diagnosis is difficult and prompt treatment must be needed. In spite of aggressive treatment, the prognosis is poor due to frequent metastasis and recurrence. We experienced a case of malignant mixed mullerian tumor of uterine corpus and report with a brief review of literature.
