저자들은 본 대학에서 26세의 경산부에서 사산된 39주의 남아에서 비교적 전형적인 cloacal exstrophy를 경험하였기에 간단한 문헌적 고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.

Cloacal exstrophy is defined as the failure of cloacal septation, which results in a persistent cloaca into which the ureters and a rudimentary hindgut open. This is a rare congenital anomaly which is uniformly fatal in the neonatal period. Authors present a case of the Exstrophy of the cloaca, with a brief review of literatures concerned.
