The diagnostic method of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) has been used to establish with cytology, colposcopy, directed punch biopsy and/or endocervica1 curettage. Each of the patient was performed above method for an accurate cervica1 tissue diagnosis. The puropse of .this observation is to evaluate the results of the therapeutic effectiveness of carbon dioxide laser surgery for a managing the cervical lesions. This laser has been shown to be effective, safe and valuable means of apply to the certain lesions of the female genital tract, however the most important indication was cervical intraepithelial neoplasia. According to our experience, the following results can be obtained. l5 patients have treated as with cervical erosion and 44 cases with CIN including carcinoma in situ was applied local destructive laser surgery. During 24 months, all the cases have been evaluated by cytologic and colposcopic examination every 3 to 6 month intervals and 2 cases managed by repeat therapy within two years. Recently, the majority of patients (96.6%) revealed only normal squamous and columnar cells on cytology. This paper will further be demonstrated of our experience and advantages.
