For the antepartal evaluation of fetal well-being in high risk pregnancy, the nonstress test has been found to be clinically efficacious. From June 1, 1981, to April 20, 1982, 483 nonstress tests were performed on 399 women with high risk pregnancy. The results of this study were as follows; 1. The most common indication for nonstress test was hypertensive disorders during pregnancy(23.1%). 2. The mean gestation week in nonstress test group was 40.04 week, and the mean birth weight in delivered cases was 3,050 gm. 3. Among 483 nonstress tests, reactive result was noted in 411 cases(85.1%), nonreactive in 69 cases(14.3%), and unsatisfactory in 3 cases(0.6%). 4. Low Apgar score was found in 23.2% (13/56 cases) in nonreactive group, and 1.3% (4/307) cases) in reactive group respectively
