비교적 희유한 난소의 난포막세포종의 1예를 보고하는 동시에 특히 본예와 같은 중등도로 진행된 난소악성종양(1기) 제거 수술방법에 불가피하게 봉착되는, 조절 곤란한 대출혈을 지혈시키는 유일한 방법은 난소혈관고위결찰술이 다른 지혈 방법(Hypogastric artery ligation)에 비하여 가장 성공적인 새로운 방법이라고 제안한다.

The cases presented is a case with moderately advanced theca cell tumor encountered difficult to control the massive hemorrhage during the surgery. We have succeed to control such a inevitable massive bleeding in the surgery by means of high ligation of the corresponding ovarian vessels. We believe such new technique is a most simple, fast and reliable approach for control of massive difficult hemorrhage originated primarily from the ovarian lesions(Ovarian tumors & tuboovarian abscess etc.)
