The purpose of this study was to assess the effectiveness of Tinidazole-Nystatin vaginal suppository and to record any side effects. The antifungal antiboiotics Nystatin was invertigated in the treatment of monilial vaginitis and monilial vaginitis combined with trichomonadal vaginitis in 52 patients who visited out patient clinic, Dept. of Ob and Gyn, Seuol National University hopsital This anitifnngal antibiotics (combined with antitrichomonacied) was administered by vaginal suppository in does of 450 mg Tinidazole and 200,000 units Nystatin per day for 7 days. Test of cure was performed by direct wet-smear method and culture with sabouratiud dextrose agar media. the results obtained are as follows; 1. cure rate one cycle (for 7 days) ; 96.2% (50/52) two cycle (for 14 days) ; 100% 2. no side effects in all cases. 3. This investigation indicates that tinidazole-nystatin vaginal suppository is an effective antifungal antibiotics with advantage of short duration of treatment and no side effects.
