Though hydatidiform mole is a benign disease, early diagnosis as possible is desirable. While the diagnosis of hydatidiform mole can not often be made with certainty before molar vesicles are aborted, especially in the first trimester, authors could find that amniography is very valuable in early diagnosis of hydatidigorm mole. From 8 cases of amniograpphy, we obtained the following resules: 1. Typical moth-eaten or honey-combed patterns were seen on amniography in 6 cases out of 7 clinically suspected hydatidiform mole and then all of these cases were contirmed as hydatidiform mole by operation. 2. One of the 7 cases above showed cystic shadow on amniogram and an ovarian cyst was found by operation in the case. 3. One case in which intrauter fetal death was suspected clinlcally showed fetal hadow on amniogram and the diagnosis of intrauterine fetal death was confirmed. Thus, if moth-eaten or honeycombed patterns appear on amniogram, the diagnosis of hyda- tidiform mole can be made with confidnce.
