This study represents the synthetic characteristics of styrene-DVB copolymer which is used as a catalyst support for tritium removal process from Pressurized Heavy Water Reactors. To evaluate the effect of solvent composition on the styrene-DVB polymeric support, the surface properties of polymeric supports made from various composition of solvents were analyzed. Specific surface area and pore volume of the polymeric support was decreased and the second peak was shifted to small pore size in the pore size distribution with increasing the content of good solvent in the solvent mixture.
