Zeolites could be easily synthesized from scoria, that is abundantly found in the Cheju island. The synthetic zeolite showed more better adsorption ability about the heavy metal ion than that of raw scoria, The results of the adsorption experiment about Analcime(ANA) suggested the highest value and the removal amount of Pb²+ was 40mg Pb/g at this time. The selectivity of ANA about metal ions was decreased with next orders; P²+ $gt; Cu＾(+2) $gt; Zn＾(+2).
