The grafting of 2,3-epoxypropyl methacrylate(GMA) on polypropylene(PP) fabric was carried out by the γ-ray preirradiation grafting technique. GMA-grafted PP fabric was reacted with iminodiacetate(IDA) in different mixed solvents to synthesize an adsorbent. In the adsorption of Co^(2+), Fe^(2+) and Pb^(2+), the amounts of adsorption followed the order : Pb^(2+)>Co^(2+)>Fe^(2+).
