As one of the steps toward educational reform for the preparation for the ch the 21st century, goverment converted the existing approval system for estab university to a criteria-based approval system, enacting the regulation for an establishment and operation (No. 15127 of the Presidential Decree, July 26, standard degree for junior college establishment was abolished. Accordingly, there is now no procurement standard of experiment and practic with which private junior colleges should be equipped, as the standard of junio experiment and practice facilities (No. 92-9 of the Minister of Education`s N abolished on January 1, 1997. Instead, each private junior college is r autonomously state the procurement plan of such facilities in its college cha problem posed here is that there is no criterion for the Ministry of Education, s their parents to judge the procurement and quality level of experiment an facilities. This study is conducted, in relation to this matter, to make contribution to the efficiency in the operation of experiment an practice course of study at juni by analyzing the problems resulted from the abolishment of the standard for junior college`s experiment and practice facilities and by suggesting some alternatives.
