The Grindability and reactivity of domestic limestones for wet flue gas desulfurization were measured. The Bond Work Index correlated well with the Hardgrove Index and can be expressed as B.W.I = 16.78 - 0.08(H.G.I). No dependence was found between grindability and reactivity of limestone. Relative reactivity of limestone was affected significantly by specific surface area and solution composition.
