To evaluate the extent of thermal-oxidation deterioration of polymeric insulating material in the electric power distribution cable; OIT and OMT were measured from DSC thermograms at various oxydizing temperature. By using Eyring equation and OMT data, the operating condition of cable insulation was well evaluated.
