In recent years many a enterprise tends to establish its own homepage for the introduction of newly developed production such as effective marketing and customer management. Tourist hotels in Korea are also active in keeping with this global stream. The internet marketing through homepage is mostly focused on the hotel merchandise. In other words, this homepage marketing is not in keeping with the true purpose of internet marketing such as image improvement, market survey and customer satisfaction, etc. The study results are as follows; First, Lack of internet usage instruments such as -display use net and news group due to the over - reliance on website. Second, Lack of market survey and customer information management due to the over focusing on the production sales. Third, Lack of direct and active advertising for the hotel and hotel internet homepage due to the operation by internet agencies not by hotel personnels. Fourth, Lack of internet marketing specialist of hotel`s own and absence of any independent department for this purpose. Fifth, Lack of obligation and response for the information circulation in the process of internet marketing. Numerous enterprise homepages appear and disappear continually every day. So even if any hotel establishes its own homepage it loses its value when customers do not visit it. Therefore continual advertising for the homepage and marketing activities to induce customers` visits and the prompt replacement of newly developed information are necessary.
