Ten studies on the Korean adolescents` moral judgment development using the Defining Issues Test(DIT) were reviewed with respect to age/education trends, gender difference, relationships with cognitive/personality factors, familial/societal factors religion, and delinquency. The major results of review were as follows. First, the Korean adolescents` moral judgment development showed the developmental trends by increasing age and education level. Second, gender difference in the Korean adolescents` moral judgment development tended to be no or quite small. Third, among the cognitive/personality factors, the higher academic achievement and cognitive developmental level were, and the lower locus of control scores were, the higher Korean adolescents` moral judgment development was. Fourth, among the familial/societal factors, parents` education and fathers` occupation had inconsistent relationships with the Korean adolescents` moral judgment development. And physical environment of home, birth order, and types of school attended(coed vs. non-coed) made no significant differences, but psychological process dimension of the psychological environments of home and child-rearing place(normal vs. orphan asylum) made significant differences in the Korean adolescents` moral judgment development. Fifth, religious affiliation had inconsistent relationships with the Korean adolescents` moral judgment development, and delinquency made significant differences in it.
