1972년도에 중앙대학교에서 사진학과를 개설한 이후 1999년 현재 수도권의 많은 대학들이 사진관련학과를 개설하였다. 현재 산업체에서의 사진관련 직종은 인원 적체현상을 보이고 있어 졸업후의 취업에 많은 어려움을 가지고 있다. 고등학교를 졸업한 뒤 대학으로 진학하는 인적자원이 점점 줄어들고 있어 사진관련과를 지원하는 수험생의 수도 줄어들 것이 예상되지만 1999년도에 계원 조형예술대학, 여주 대학에서 사진관련과를 신설하였다. 수도권의 2년제 대학들이 정원미달 사태가 예견되고 있는 현실에서 수험생들의 각 대학별 선호도를 조사하여 선호도가 뒤진 대학의 대처 방안을 강구하고자 한다. 수도권 수험생들의 지방 4년제 대학교 이탈화를 막기 위하여 대표적인 지방 4년제 대학교와의 선호도를 조사 하였으며 그 대비책도 연구해야 할 것이다. 본 논문의 조사방법은 수도권 2년제 대학을 복수 합격한 학생들이 재학 중인 대학을 조사하여 선호도를 분석하였다. 각 대학의 합격자 발표명단을 가나다 순서로 정렬하여 복수합격 여부를 판단하였고 각 대학의 신입생 출석부와 비교하여 선호도를 결정하였다.

Until to date 1999, number of colleges have been establishing the course of photography since Chung-Ang university established its course in 1972. At present, it is very difficult for a graduate student to get a job in industrial field due to stagnation. In spite of decreasing number of high-school graduate students who apply to photography related courses, Kewon Formative & Art College and Yeoju College established courses on photography in 1999. Prospecting the reality that colleges in Seoul Metropolitan areas are faced with a difficulty of reaching their quorums, I, investigated students` preferences among colleges. In addition, colleges with low preference are recommended to take counter measures to increase student preference based on the research. This study attempted to, prevent students who lived in Seoul Metropolitan area from seceding into local university and counter plan should be followed by comparing preference between college and representative local university. The research methodology in this thesis was probing attending college from those who acquired dual admission in Seoul metropolitan area. The names of passed students from each college were listed in Korean alphabetic order to measure the certainty of dual admission and the preference was decided by comparing with freshmens roll book.
