멀티캐스트는 하나의 송신자가 여러 수신자들에게 데이터를 전송할 때 사용되는 일대다 전송 방법이다. 현재 다자간 통신인 화상회의 시스템이나 전자 칠판과 같은 멀티캐스트 응용 프로그램들이 계속적으로 등장하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 신뢰성 있는 멀티캐스트 데이터 전송을 위해서 대표수신자 리스트를 이용한 대표수신자 동적 할당 기법과 대표수신자를 이용한 재전송 기법을 제안한다. 이러한 멀티캐스트를 이용하여 RTP/RTCP 기반의 신뢰성 있는 다자간 음성회의 시스템을 설계하였다. RTP/RTCP를 이용하여 설계한 음성회의 시스템은 표준화 작업의 효율성을 증대시키고 신뢰성 있는 표준화 정보를 실시간으로 교환할 수 있다.

Multicast is the multiparty communication that allows one-to-many communications. There are some multicast applications which are the ways of multiparty communications such as video conference system and white board. This paper proposes a dynamic allocation mechanism of designated receiver by using designated receiver list and a retransmission mechanism with designated receiver for the effective multicasting data transmission. We designed voice conference system with multicast based on RTP/RTCP. This voice conference system increases the effect of standardization work and enables to exchange reliable standard data with real time.
