In this study, the change of temperature during heating water, the change of temperature in mixture of hot water and cool water, the change of temperature in insulating heat of water, and the volume change of water by temperature had been carried out. The experiment on temperature change during heating water showed that the change of water did not depend on beaker size due to small specific heat of beaker, The more consumption rate of alcohol was increased, the more temperature of water was rised up. We can control the measuring time to be required reasonable results, because the temperature of water is closely depended on consumption rates. The increase of temperature difference of hot water and cool water made remarkable temperature difference of initial temperature and thermal equilibrium temperature, but it took the longer time to reach thermal equilibrium state. As the initial temperature of water was increased, the temperature difference of sterofoam covered beaker and naked beaker was enlarged in experiment on temperature change in insulating heat of water. Both the diameter of glass tube to determine the height of water column and the heat value of alcohol lamp to effect temperature change of water had an influence on experimental results and measuring time.
