The Korean government used diverse measures to solve farm household debt problems such as repayment deferrals, interest rates cut down, and replacement of commercial loans with policy loans. However, the effects of measures are limited, because there is no effective criteria to screen qualified applicants for the measures as long as they have the debts borrowed from agricultural financial institutions. This paper suggests a financial supporting system for the farm households under financial crisis, which operates always and consists of monitoring, evaluation and screening the applicants, and provide proper debt restructuring programs.
