The purpose of this study was to investigate how family environment variables affect to fathers` psychological experiences. It was centered around fathers who have two early youth children(9~15 years old). Influences on fathers satisfaction and stress were examined taking into account 13 family variables such as parents ages, jobs, careers, etc. The subjects of this study were 397 fathers who have youth age children in Seoul and Taejon. The instruments for statistical analysis were One-Way ANOVA, Duncan Verification, t-test and MANOVA. The analysis results showed (1) the family environment variables influencing father satisfaction and stress were parental academic achievement and income-and the father`s job, (2) father satisfaction showed significant differences according these elements and was also influenced by religions factors, (3) fathers` stress levels showed significant differences according to parental age, education, income and employment.
