Most of the analyses on the Local Election of June 27, 1995 seem to have based largely on the perspective from the central politics, as is `well expressed in terms like the intermediary assesment and the regionalism. I want to focus on the local people`s choice rather than the interests of the central politics, and then, to analyze the local choice in relation to the central politics. The underlying question in my thesis is : what was the choice of local people in the Local Election in June, 1995? And the answer is : the local people chose `the reformative local government`, strongly revealing the tendency `to dislike the political parties`.
