Alunite를 분해 침출시킴으로서 용출된 Al성분과 석고를 이용하여 공침법에 의해 CaO·2Al₂O₃를 제조하는 새로운 공정을 조사하였다. 합성된 CaO·2Al₂O₃는 공침물인 CaCO₃·4Al(OH)₃를 10000℃에서 소성함으로서 얻어지며, 이 공침물 CaCO₃·4Al(OH)₃는 pH : 7.5의 조성하에서 정량적으로 공침되었다. 얻어진 CaO·2Al₂O₃는 고균질도를 유지하였으며 내화도 SK 35의 성능을 나타내었다.
This study was carried out to find a new process for the production of CaO·2Al₂O₃ from the Al containing solution which was obtained from domestic alunite and gypsum by the co-precipitation method. Synthetic CaO·2Al₂O₃ could be produced by calcining the co-precipitate CaCO₃·4A1(OH)₃ at 1000℃ and the pH for co-precipitation of CaCO₃·4Al(OH)₃ was 7.5. Synthetic CaO·2Al₂O₃ from this study had good homogeneity and refractoriness of this material was SK 35.
