Baffle 裝置를 안했을 경우에는 screen blade turbine을 使用하였을 때나 flat blade turbine을 使用하였을 때의 所要動力이 差가 없고 거의 비슷하다. 4 個의 Baffle 장치를 한 경우는 screen blade turbine을 使用하였을 때가 flat blade turbine 을 使用하였을 때 보다 所要動力이 훨씬 적다. 특히 multi-stage system 에서는 screen blade turbine 을 使用하면 動力節約을 크게 할 수 있다.

The effect of the screen blade turbine impeller on power requiement in stirred mixer was investigated. Power data were measured by the dynanomic method. The range of the impeller rotational speed was from 120rpm to 1,540rpm. In an nnbaflled system, power data for the three types (of the impeller) are much the same. In a baffled system, power data for the screen blade turbines are much less than the flat blade turbine.
