The beauty of Korea became famous globally since K-pop and K-drama received spotlight worldwide. Among them, a high portion is from junior colleges and due to the characteristics of the cosmetology major, practical abilities are taught more compared to other majors, so the service concept is also required in universities that can play a pivotal role in educating human resources for the beauty industry. In this study, the SERVQUAL model developed by PZB(1991) was used to measure the tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy of the education as the service quality dimensions. This research conducted a survey to university students in Department of Cosmetology in Seoul & Gyeonggi Region from May 27, 2016, to June 23, 2016. And AMOS 18.0 was utilized to analyze the data and to verify each of hypotheses. The analysis results of this study are as follows: first, among the dimensions of education service quality, tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, and empathy had positive(+) influence on self-efficacy, but assurance did not have any significant effect. Second, tangibility, responsiveness, assurance and empathy appeared to have positive effects on educational satisfaction, but reliability did not have a significant effect on educational satisfaction. Third, for the effect of education service quality on career aspiration, it showed that tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy all had positive(+) effects on career aspiration. Fourth, self-efficacy had a positive(+) effect on educational satisfaction. Lastly, self-efficacy and educational satisfaction had a positive(+) effect on career aspiration. Through this study, it is expected that universities should identify the needs of the students to respond quickly to changing educational environment, and the result of this study could serve as the basic guidelines for cultivating specialized, and professional human resources required in the beauty industry.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of awareness of beauty talent donation on the commitment to beauty talent donation activity and its satisfaction, and to present direction for the wide spread of sustainable talent donation, and to provide basic data that can help to formulate a invigoration plan. The result shows that as the awareness of beauty talent donation increases, commitment and satisfaction of beauty talent donation activity rise, and satisfaction of beauty talent donation activity increases when commitment to beauty talent donation activity is increased. Therefore, it is necessary to maintain and develop the network through talent donation, and if the network is maintained by continuous talent donation, talent donated people would be recognized as an individual who plays a professional role in society. In order to change the perception on the talent donations, it is necessary to develop new and diverse programs consistently aiming to raise awareness of the importance and necessity of talent donation initiated by beauty training and educational institutions. Also, system is required in which talent donation be returned by means of the benefits of social welfare services as per the point of donation activity, so that talent donation will be perceived as valuable in the society.

In order to examine terms for the traditional make-up, this study arranged terms found in the Annals of the Joseon Dynasty recorded in the era of Joseon. The terms representing the traditional make-up can be divided into those with specific or comprehensive meanings, and the former can be again sub-divided into those depending on cosmetic forms or instruments. A preliminary study suggested that terms with specific meanings could be divided by cosmetic forms: Damjang(淡粧), Nongjang(濃粧), Yeomjang(艶粧), Ungjang(凝粧) and Yayong(冶容), and by cosmetic instruments: Bundae(粉黛) and Jibun(脂粉), while those with comprehensive meanings included Danjang(丹粧), Seongjang(盛粧) and Jangsik(粧飾), and there was Jangreom(粧奩) as a term for the traditional make-up instrument. Additional terms include Jeongjang meaning the application of powder and the drawing of eyebrows) and Jangso meaning make-up, as those with specific meanings, by cosmetic forms, while there were others by cosmetic instruments, such as Hongbun referring to rouge and powder, Miyeosak meaning the refinement of eyebrows, and Jajang, a term for the traditional cosmetic instrument.

With the current popularization, specialization, and segmentalization of nail art, the gel nail products that used to be only sold in specialized shops could be easily seen from home-shopping or internet shopping. Especially, the current nail tip is one of the self-nail products rapidly growing. As a nail art material that could be attached in a second, there is the attachable nail tip which is sensationally popular. The objective of this study is to suggest the future direction for the development of nail tip design by analyzing each nail tip brand distributed by domestic home-shopping. The methods of this study are as follows. The theoretical research focused on specialized books and literary data. The analysis frame of pattern and decoration was established based on preceding researches. Colors were based on Hun&Tone suggested by Munsell's Basic Color Chart. For the empirical research, the nail tip design distributed by domestic home-shopping was analyzed in each brand. Especially, in the results of searching all the domestic home-shopping, it aims to examine the nail tip brands of GS Shop, Hyundai Home-Shopping, CJ Home-Shopping, Lotte Home-Shopping, and NS Home-Shopping distributing the most attachable gel nail tips, and also to analyze the design of total 587 nail tips such as 293 nail tips of Dianas Geltip, 36 of CORAL&FLOWER, 13 of NAIL'sNAIL, 207 of DASHIN DIVA, and 38 of KISS NEW YORK after excluding the overlapping designs of each brand. The formative elements for the analysis of nail tips were classified in the aspect of pattern, color, and decoration. The results of analyzing the formativeness of nail tip design of five brands distributed by domestic home-shopping are as follows. Regarding the pattern of five brands, the geometric pattern and abstract pattern were much expressed. In case of color, there were R, RP/Vp, Dp, YR/Vp, PB/B, and PB/Dl. Regarding the decoration, the striping tape and stone were used the most. On top of examining diverse nail tip designs currently distributed, this study would be used as important data for the future direction of nail tip design based on the current trend.

The subjects of this study were adult women residing in Chungcheongnam-do area, and 293 copies were used as final analysis data. Collected data were analyzed using SPSS 20.0 program, frequency analysis, factor analysis and reliability analysis. Principal component analysis and Varimax were used for extraction. One way ANOVA was performed. Duncan test was performed as a post-test method. As a result, in order to find out the color image according to hair brightness, the analysis of variance showed a significant difference in all the items, and the 'friendliness' factor was the highest. In order to find out the color image according to the hair color selection criteria, the analysis of variance showed a significant difference in all the items, and the 'decentness' factor was the highest. Through these results, Hyundai will be seen as a positive image to others in the social group if it emphasizes the individual's strengths as the era of individuality, the image production, or complements the disadvantages.

6수기요법과 바른생활자세 병행요법이 신체전면의 불균형 개선에 미치는 효과

In this study, we examined if the method of using massage therapy combined with manual for correct posture could improve the imbalance of body. To address a clinical trial was conducted for eight weeks targeting the total number of twenty one aged above 30 and under 60 years old women whose office worker. As for the clinical trials experimental groups involves: the control group (5 subjects), test group 1 (8 subjects) groups that receive body balance correction massage therapy once a week, and test group 2 (8 subjects) that receive body balance correction massage therapy once a week and perform the correct posture in daily life according to the manual. Test group 1 and test group 2 has obtained the following results: at the change of the anterior body, in the changes of the gradient shoulder showed a tendency to decrease and decrease in the height of left and right shoulders (p<.05), respectively; tendency to decrease and decrease (p<.01) in angle and height of left and right pelvic gradient, respectively; tendency to decrease and decrease (p<.01) in left­deviation in terms of left and right body balance; and tendency to decrease in length of legs (13.3% more decrease in test group 2). Thus, it was confirmed that body imbalance was improved more effectively when body balance correction massage therapy combined with manual for correct posture in daily life.

This study analyzed variables affecting the business performance of the beauty industry studied over the past 20 years by using meta­analysis. The analyzed study subject to a dependent variable of business performance selected the final 23 researches, and extracted 72 effect sizes. The data was collected through search terms related to management performance on KERIS and the Library of Congress sites. The average effect size(Fisher's Zr) was calculated by selecting researches with statistics(t-test, F-test, correlation coefficient) except for the inappropriate researches. As the research results, first, looking at the characteristics of the study, related research started in 1999 and has been actively conducted since 2010, mainly in the hair area(43.5%) and skin area(34.8%). Second, it was analyzed that human characteristics, physical environment, marketing, and educational variables all have significant static correlation with management performance. Among them, education had the biggest impact, followed by human characteristics, physical environment, and marketing. Third, looking at the average effect size of each sub-variable factor of management performance and influence factors, human characteristics showed great influence relations in the order of psychology, gender, career, academic background and age, followed by location and size of physical environment. In terms of marketing, the relationship between promotion and service was huge, followed by the number of times and quality of education. Fourth, comparing the average effect size according to the type of company, the hair field showed a significantly large impact relationship in human characteristics

This study examined cosmetic purchase behavior of Chinese females and investigated differences in cosmetic purchase behavior between Chinese and Korean females. Cosmetic purchase behavior is composed of variables such as reason for using cosmetics, use of information source, selection criteria, place of purchase, reason for visit, interest in cosmetics, satisfaction with cosmetics, purchase propensity, pursuing image, purchase frequency, and purchase amount. The surveys were conducted with 312 Chinese females in their 20s from July 5th to 29th 2017 and with 308 Korean females in their 20s from December 5th to 10th 2016. Data collected from respondents through internet surveys were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-tests, and chi-square tests. Chinese females considered skin protection as the most important reason for using cosmetics and mainly gained information on cosmetics through internet, friends or family members. They regarded skin suitability as the most important selection criterion for buying cosmetics and mostly pursued a clear and pure image through makeup. The results of t-tests showed significant differences in reason for using cosmetics, use of information source, selection criteria, place of purchase, reason for visit, interest in cosmetics, and satisfaction with cosmetics between Chinese and Korean females. The results of chi-square tests revealed significant differences in purchase propensity, pursing image, purchase frequency, and purchase amount between them. The results of this study will help to understand difference between Chinese and Korean consumers and develop marketing strategies such as development, sales promotion, and distribution for entering and expanding Chinese cosmetic market.

9퍼머넌트 시술시 비타민나무 열매추출물이 모발손상에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study is to examine the possibility of natural extracts to reduce hair damage by removing active oxygens generated by chemical procedures such as permanent wave treatment. For the purpose, the hair damage was evaluated after stirring the vitamin tree extract, vitamin c, and vitamin ce in the first agent during the permanent wave procedure, and the following findings were derived. As a result of measuring the thickness of the hair, the group stirred the Hippophae rhamnoides L extract showed 0.027331 ± 0.0010 mm, which was the closest result to the virgin hair, increasing to 22% than the control group c, which was confirmed that less hair damage and thicker hair. As a result of tensile strength measurement, the group with Hippophae rhamnoides L extract stirred in the first agent was 104.96 ± 6.56 mm, which was lower than the virgin hair but was the highest among the experimental groups. Hippophae rhamnoides L with the closest result to the virgin hair of the microstructure observation using SEM showed the least damage, and control C without any treatment showed the most damage. Analysis of hair elements using EDS showed that Hippophae rhamnoides L extract contained 11.8 to 11% of sulfur which is less than virgin har by 1.31%. Based on the findings, it was confirmed to have an effect of alleviating hair damage when the Hippophae rhamnoides L extract was used in combination with the first agent.

With the development of The Times and variety shows, imitating stars has become a natural phenomenon. In order to grasp the understanding of the development of male hair style and makeup and the change trend in the future, we analyze the hair style and makeup of male stars in the current popular and dominant cosmetics advertisements. The results suggest that from 2010 to 2019, male celebrity images have changed from masculine to feminine, with the length of hair styles changing and men now preferring longer styles. Hair colors are more personal and varied. Makeup has changed from basic makeup to color makeup, and it can be seen that from the previous strong masculine makeup changes to present feminine beauty makeup. Through this research and analysis of the changes of the stars hair and makeup, the results will be used as the basic data to develop cosmetics, and as the basic materials to predict the new hair and makeup trends.
