Based on the grounded theory, the present study examines the tourism contents for individual foreign tourists, categorizes the contents, analyzes the process, and finds out the optimized tourism contents to improve the quality tourism experience of individual foreign tourists. The central phenomenon of providing optimized tourist environment for attracting individual foreign tourists is the centering of 'finding and expanding unique tourist contents in Korea', and the causal conditions are 'change of tourist orientation' and 'individual tourism market context. Contextual conditions are ‘rising value of tourism content’ and ‘changing landscape of tourism contents’. Finally, the results of finding and expanding Korea's unique tourist contents for individual foreign tourists were classified into ‘expansion of local visits' and 'extension of stay'. This paradigm analysis is expected to be valuable as a basic data to promote qualitative improvement of tourism policy at a time when FIT growth is expected to grow gradually.

The purpose of this study was to find out the effects of Hotel Employees` Big Five Personality Factors on Self Efficacy and on Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Sampling in this study was limited to Hotel employees who are working at five-star hotels in Seoul and the final sample size was 273. Results showed that four personality traits except agreeableness influenced on their Self-Efficacy. Among the four personality, extraversion, conscientiousness, and openness to experience played a positive role in their Self-Efficacy, but the effect of neuroticism was negative. In addition, extraversion, openness to experience, and agreeableness influenced on Organizational Citizenship Behavior, while conscientiousness had effect on only altruism among Organizational Citizenship Behavior and neuroticism had no significant effect on it. Furthermore, Self-Efficacy had a significant effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior.

This study aims to evaluate the local festival service quality using IPA analysis. Specifically, we sought to analyze differences between importance and satisfaction of the festival service quality. A survey was conducted from April 1 to 30, 2016 through an online survey company and the total 402 samples were used for the final analysis. The results of analysis are presented in quadrant:Ⅰquarter face is high importance and high satisfaction, Ⅱquarter face is high importance and low satisfaction, Ⅲ quarter face is low importance and low satisfaction, and Ⅳquarter face is low importance and high satisfaction. Practical and theoretical implications of the results are addressed with future study ideas.

The purpose of this study is to suggest a systematic support plan for foreign students' successful life of studying in Korea by analyzing the relationship among acculturation stress, learning motivation, and academic achievement. A survey targeting the foreign students residing in four districts in Korea was administered from Oct. 3 to Nov. 10, 2018. Multiple regression analysis was conducted based on the answers of 489 questionnaires. As a result of this study, first, acculturation stress was found to have a partially positive(+) and negative(-) influence on learning motivation; second, acculturation stress was found to have a partially positive(+) and negative(-) influence on academic achievement; and third, learning motivation was found to have a partially positive(+) and negative(-) influence on academic achievement.

The purpose of this study is to look into the elements of comparative advantage for corporations in the MICE industry, an industry that is gaining attention as the main creative industry that combines new ideas to the existing manufacturing, service, and entertainment industries. To discern the very elements of comparative advantage for the firms, this study examines the influence structure among market imperative advantage, resource-based advantage, and corporate performance. Statistical analysis results showed that among the variables of resource-based advantage, social capital had a significant and positive effect on knowledge management and directly increased corporate profits. Knowledge management, in turn, reinforced market imperative advantage and contributed to better market results. Market imperative advantage, which is strengthened by knowledge management, ultimately contributed to corporate marketability and profitability.

As tourism is highly information-dependent, consumers heavily rely on blog information for their decision-making. In this study, we explored which components of blog affect on the credibility of blog information. Quasi-experimental design was applied to university students for using four currently operating Naver travel blogs. The results revealed that the components that affect the intent to continue browsing on the blog were blog introduction and blog visibility. For the sub-page, blog realism, blog exposure, blog integrity, and blog expertise have positive impacts on the assessment of blog information credibility, while blog commercialism showed a negative impact. The results of the present study suggested that the following components increase the reliability of blogs: epilogue-style blog layout, detailed blogger introduction, reviews based on actual experiences, and continued blog management and engagement.

The purpose of this study was to examine campers' opinion on 'Safe-camping' and to estimate their willingness to pay for safety of camping by using a double bounded dichotomous choice contingent valuation method. To examine WTP of 'Safe-camping', eight independent variables were considered such as tfirst bid amount, second bid amount, safety beliefs, demographic variables, camping frequency, expense at the region of camping site, expense at out of the region of camping site and re-visit intension. Results showed that, first, re-visit intention was lower for camping even camping experiences were higher, there was no difference in WTP for 'Safe-camping'. Second, Camping participants' desire for 'Safe-camping' was analyzed and the amount of WTP for 'Safe-camping' was estimated. This result would be beneficial for both providers and campers in ways to create more economic value as well as to provide safer camping opportunities.

The purpose of this study is to explore ways to stimulate the influx of Chinese tourists visiting Korea according to the degree of their "lifestyle pursuit". Results shows that in order to attract the Chinese tourists visiting Korea and make them come again, when setting up the tourist attractions, more unique tourism products should be secured and tourism services improved. The present study results suggests that the lifestyles of Chinese tourists can be utilized as a useful tool to develop tourism products and services, in addition to develop strategies for attracting Chinese tourists according to their impact on attractiveness in Korea in future.

This paper aims at analyzing the impact of job performance on trust to leader and on feedback seeking behavior in tourism business. Based on existing research on the organization members who are employed in the tourism company, and utilize the final sample of 298 unites in the final section. Results showed that, first, job performance, trust to leader, and feedback-seeking behavior had statistically significant correlations to each other. Secondly, there was an intermediary effect of feedback-seeking behavior in the relationship between organizational member's superior confidence and duty; and trust to leader directly affects job performance and partly mediates feedback-seeking behavior. Third, attention showed an interaction effect on the organization member's trust and on steady efforts according to the level of steady efforts and the relationship between monitoring and asking which is a subordinate factor of trust for leader and feedback-seeking behavior.

The purpose of this study was to find out the effects of eco-environmental attributes of hotel rooms, food & beverage, and public sector on hotel brand loyalty. Factor analysis and regression analysis were used. The results of the study can be summarized as follows. First, eco-environmental attributes' factors of hotel rooms had significant effects on the hotel brand loyalty in eco-friendly saving system, eco-friendly room management, and appropriate temperature. Second, eco-environmental attributes' factors of food & beverage had a significant effect on the hotel brand loyalty in creating eco-friendly food & beverage environment, eco-friendly food management, and utilizing eco-friendly food & beverage equipment. Third, eco-environmental attributes' factors of lobby and public sector had significant effects on the hotel brand loyalty in eco-friendly management of lobby and public sector and in eco-friendly management of fitness center and sauna.
