Purpose -The purpose of the research is to suggest Korean performing arts organizations to develop the Music Stage Reading in Korea.
Research design, data, and methodology -The research design and methodology is a way of the comparison of Korean and Japan Music Stage Reading. So, the case studies of the representative productions in the two states are HJ Culture’s Music Stage Reading series in Korea and SOUND THEATRE’s < Natsume Yuujinchou >, ‘Theatrical-Live’s < The Black Prince >, and READING HIGH’s < Homunculus > in Japan.
Result -The origin of the Stage Reading is similar to between Korea and Japan but the two countries are developed each other. Japan has been developed new genre of the performing arts, that is, the Music Stage Reading through scenic, lighting, sound usage such as professional productions. However Korea has been not developed new genre such as Japan.
Conclusions -The conclusion of the research is that Korean performing arts organizations need to develop the Music Stage Reading to be new genre like Japan.

Purpose - It identifies the structure of the per capita spending of visitors to the 2018 Chuncheon international leisure sports festival and estimates the total expenditure. In addition, the regional input-output model is used to derive the multiplier of the Gangwon region, and this multiplier is divided into intra and inter region to analyze the net economic impact of the Chuncheon area.
Design, data, and methodology -First, we conducted on-site surveys to estimate visitor expenditures. Second, we derived the tourism multiplier by using the Gangwon regional input-output statistics published by the Bank of Korea(2015). Especially, to divide the leakage effect, each multiplier is divided into intra and inter region. Third, the total expenditure is estimated by considering the number of visitors, and net direct and indirect economic impact is calculated by reflecting the tourism multiplier.
Result - The output impact of the 2018 Chuncheon international leisure sports festival is 8.4 billion won (5.3 billion won in intra region, 3.1 billion won in inter region), 1.7 billion won in income impact (1.2 billion won in intra region, 500 million won in inter region). The indirect tax impact is 80 million won (60 million won in intra region, 20 million won in inter region), and the employment impact is 138 persons (34 in intra region, 104 in inter region).
Conclusions - This study has improved the accuracy by analyzing the economic impact considering leakage effect to inter regions. These results can be used as objective data to verify the feasibility of the economic impact of the 2018 Chuncheon international leisure sports festival. In order to increase the accuracy of the number of visitors in the future, it is necessary to study the objective and practical methods.

Purpose - The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of the convention destination's brand personality on self-congruity and brand attitude and also identify different effects on brand attitude between the individualist group and collectivist group.
Design, data, and methodology - Convention destination brand personality was divided into four main components and self congruity was divided into two aspects. Based on previous studies, this study hypothesized relationships among convention destination brand personality, self congruity and brand attitude, and differences of cultural differences.
Result - The mediating effect of ideal self-congruity has been verified, but the actual self-congruity has not. Regarding the cultural differences, no statistical differences have been found through the analysis, however there has been a more significant impact on the relationship between self-congruity and brand attitude in the collectivist group.
Conclusion - The results offer some insights into the importance of viral marketing for promoting convention destination. Theoretically, this study provides Seoul's brand personalities as convention destination and differences of actual and ideal self congruity as mediator variable between convention destination brand personality and brand attitude.

Purpose -The purpose of this study is to identify research trends in the field of events, convention, festival and an international conference by using social network analysis.
Research design, data, and methodology - This study examined event and convention studies that were published event and convention research (KCI indexed) in the last ten years. Keyword network and author network were mainly analyzed including network connection, centrality and cohesion. This study covers 153 research papers published from 2008 to 2018.
Result - This study confirmed that the field of event and convention research shows continued growth in terms of quantity. This study did not find a meaningful link between research keywords. Also, this study concluded that core keywords have not yet formed meaning that event and convention research stay at the early stages of network formation.
Conclusions -This study suggests that although this study found quantitative growth of the event and convention-related research, the topics of studies and authors need to be expanded to generated more research keywords for network formation.

Purpose - The objective of this research is to investigate the effect of insect events service quality on visitors' satisfaction and behavioral intention. Research design, data, and methodology - An experimental design was used by 263 questionnaires at the 2018 pet insect competition.
Descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, factor analysis, and multiple regression analysis were conducted through SPSS. The result showed that service quality has a significant effect on satisfaction and behavioral intention. In particularly, both satisfaction and behavior had the significantly influence on the content of events and program.
Result - These results show that the quality of events and program are important for increasing visitor satisfaction and encouraging revisitation.
Conclusions - The results offer some insights into a key indicator for future insect events.

Purpose - The purpose of this study is to explore the effect of benefits, customer satisfaction of craft beer pub and switching intention. It is also to examine whether alternative attraction moderates the above relationships.
Design, data, and methodology -To accomplish this purpose, the survey for customers of craft beer pubs and beer festival in Seoul was progressed. And relation benefit was divided into three main components: 'social benefits', 'psychological benefits', and 'customized benefits'. Based on previous studies.
Result -Among the relationship benefits of handmade beer shops, social and psychological benefits have a significant impact on customer satisfaction, and psychological benefits have a significant impact on the degree of switching intention. In addition, alternative attraction works as moderating effect between social and psychological benefits and customer satisfaction, and also does between psychological benefits and switching intention.
Conclusions -Many prior studies have indicated that alternative attractiveness from competitors reduces customer satisfaction. However, this study proved that customer satisfaction is higher even though alternative attraction occurs, and that is the biggest difference from the preceding studies. It means that alternative attraction had a positive effect on customer satisfaction, but it also effects on switching intention to leave customers.

Purpose - The purpose of this study is to analyze the needs of target consumers by using Importance-Performance Analysis for theme park users. In other words, this study aims to understand the importance of theme park visitors through IPA, and to grasp satisfaction by meeting each one of them. Research
Design, data, and methodology -For data collection, the study adopted survey instrument and the survey participants were the Lotte World visitors. The study carried out field survey and collected 130 respondents and performed IPA using SPSS 15.0. Using the derived factors, the importance of participants' perception in the theme park and the actual perceived satisfaction after using the theme park were analyzed through the difference of importance and achievement of the measurement items. IPA is composed of four parts(keep up the good work, concentrate here, low priority, and possibile overkill).
Result - As a result of the average value of importance in 5 items(events and rides, information service, accessibility and transportation system, cost, environment and convenience), environment and convenience facilities showed the highest value with average value of 3.88. Also, in the performance part, information service part showed the highest result with 3.68.
Conclusions - The results indicated that entrance fee, crowding, and motion line need to be improved, while consumers were satisfied with the cleanliness and accessibility of theme park.

Purpose- The purpose of this study is to identify the perceived value of the residents on urban tourism resources in old cores of Gwangju, and investigate the effect of residents' evaluation on urban tourism resources on their behavioral intention.
Design, data, and methodology- In this study, data were collected from the residents who visited old urban cores in Gwangju from May 19 to 20, 2018, and finally 278 questionnaires were analyzed.
Result- The six dimensions of urban tourism resources in old urban cores of Gwangju were identified; culture & art, Asian culture center, lodging, shopping, food, and history. The results showed that female respondents evaluated high food factor than males. It was also found that 10s ranked low on Asian culture Center factor, 40s ranked high lodging factor, and 10s and 20s ranked high culture & art factor while they ranked low historic factor. It was confirmed that culture & art, food, and shopping factors affected on residents' intention to revisit, and culture & art and shopping factors affected on residents' intention to recommend.
Conclusions- The results offer some insights into the revitalization strategies focusing on culture & art, shopping and food for the revitalization of old urban cores in Gwangju.

Purpose - The convention industry recognizes that human capital is a key component of industry development. The industry employs more short-term workers because the industry focuses on one-off or temporary events due to the nature of the industry. But so far, there has been a lack of research on hiring short-term workers in the convention industry.
Design, Data and Methodology - In this study, Giorgi 's phenomenological research method (2004) is used to identify the current situation of short - term employee recruitment in the domestic convention industry and propose a future study direction. Nine subjects were selected based on suitability and sufficiency for study sampling. The in-depth interviews were conducted based on the subject's personal experience with five categories of questions for one month in November 2017. The study examined current wage levels at the time of recruitment of working standards and short-term workers, And to examine the implications of the overall effect on the wage structure of the convention industry.
Result - As a result of examining short-term recruitment results by classifying conventions, exhibitions, and events, it was found that the labor cost of the short-term workforce who worked as the on-site workforce was higher than that of the short-term contractor. Also, in the case of the short-term workforce, the labor cost of the convention field worker was about 7,000 won lower than the work cost of the exhibition and event field worker, and found that the work time was one hour longer. The results of interviews with executives of PCOs directly hiring personnel recognized that short-term manpower selection criteria were high, while the treatment was not at that level.
Conclusion - As a result, the short-term workforce may be an excellent human resource in the industry, but it lacks policy support. In order to raise the labor cost due to the minimum wage, the domestic PCO needs to establish a new strategy in the future.

Purpose - Weather factors have a major impact on the tourism industry. Research on this issue is actively underway. However, while the interest of Particulate Matters is growing, research on Particulate Matters is lacking in the field of tourism.
Research design, data, and methodology - Weather factors and Particulate Matters try to influence how they attract visitors to indoor-outdoor attractions. Especially, we try to distinguish tourist sites from indoor and outdoor. And I want to find out the difference between the influence of Particulate Matters and weather factors.
Result - Particulate Matters are more influential on outdoor attractions than indoor tourist attractions. In order to attract visitors from tourist sites, weather factors have a greater impact than Particulate Matters. And the Particulate Matters and weather factors are highly related.
Conclusions - This study confirms that Particulate Matters is affecting attracting visitors to tourist attractions. Further research is needed to see if behavior changes due to Particulate Matters recognition of actual tourists.
