고려시대부터 주로 개성상인이 사용했던 고유의 회계처리법이 사개송도치부법(四介松都治簿法)이다. 고려의 수도 개성은 무역과 금융이 발달하였다. 西洋보다 빠른 금속활자와 조선기술로 국제중개무역이 발달하였고 혁신적이고 전통적인 회계처리시스템을 가지고 있었다. 사개송도치부법을 통하여 복잡한 상거래를 효율적으로 관리하였으며 장부를 통한 자동검증기능을 갖고 있었다. 사개송도치부법은 서양의 복식부기(複式簿記)보다 200년이 빠르다. 더욱 합리적이고 간편하고도 실용적이다. 그런데 사개송도치부법은 상인천시문화로 인하여 개성상인들 사이에 비밀로 전수되고 일반화되고 보편화되지 못하였다. 사개송도치부법을 계발한 개성상인들은 시대를 앞선 경영시스템을 도입하여 인간 존중하는 원리로 경영을 하였다. 반드시 다른 점포에 다년간 수습을 마친 뒤 가업을 잇게 하거나 유능한 점원으로 전문경영인으로 발탁하는 인사수습제도인 차인제도(差人制度)를 통해 소유와 경영을 분리하였다. 계정으로만 금융거래가 가능한 현대적인 금융제도인 시변제도(時邊制度)를 통하여 금융의 선진화를 실현하였다. 회계시스템은 1899년에 설립된 신식은행인 대한천일은행의 회계처리방식으로 사용되었다. 그 후 일본강점기의 강제적인 서양 복식부기의 강요로 지식재산으로 계승 발전되지 못하였다. 현대 회계처리방법으로도 손색이 없고 우수한 사개송도치부법을 고유의 지식재산으로 인정하여 관리 보호하여야 한다. 최근에 전통지식에 대한 경제적 가치와 지식재산으로서 가치를 인정하고 있다. 사개송도치부법이라는 회계처리방법을 傳統知識으로 보호하고 발전시켜 세계적인 知識財産으로 후대에 물려주어야 한다.

This accounting method is 200 years faster than Western accounting methods. Sagae Songdo chibu-bub is mankind's first Double-entry bookkeeping. Kaesong merchants are world-class merchants. Kaesong merchants who developed the Sagae Songdo Chibu-bub introduced management systems that preceded the times and operated on the principle of respecting human beings. Kaesong merchants have introduced a professional manager system that separates ownership from management. As a block chain, we made financial transactions solely with accounting accounts. Sagae Songdo Chibu-bub enabled efficient management of complicated transactions and automatic verification through books. It is more convenient and more convenient. It is simple and practical. However, in the Korean society, the treatment of merchants was ignore. Merchants have social status is low. I had a good Double-entry bookkeeping practice, but I could not deliver it to future generations. However, it was used in modern times, but it was not succeeded by the imposition of Japanese Empire's compulsory Western accounting method. Recently, traditional knowledge has been recognized as intellectual property. It is necessary to acknowledge the accounting method called "Sagae Songdo Chibu-bub" method as a traditional knowledge and to influence future generations.
