Purpose
Recently, much attention in building smart factory has dramatically increased with an emergence of the Industry 4.0. As we noted a connectivity gap between main concerns of MIS and the automated manufacturing systems such as POP and MES, it is recommended that CPS (Cyber-Physical System) can be an important building block for the smart factory and enrich the depth of MIS knowledge. Therefore, first, this study attempted to identify the connectivity gap between the traditional field of MIS (ERP, SCM, CRM, etc.) and the automated manufacturing systems, and then recommended CPS as a technical bridge to fill the gap. Secondly, we studied concepts and research trend of CPS that is believed to be a virtual mechanism to manage manufacturing systems in an integrated manner. Finally, we suggested research and educational opportunities in MIS based on the CPS perspectives.
Design/methodology/approach
Since this paper introduced relatively new idea of CPS originally discussed in the field of engineering, traditional MIS research method such as survey and experiment may not fit well. Therefore this research collected technical cases through literature survey in engineering fields, video clips from Youtube, and field references from various ICT Exhibitions and Conventions. Then we analyzed and reorganized them to highlight the necessity of CPS and draw some insight to share with MIS academia.
Findings
This paper introduced CPS to bridge the connectivity gap between the traditional MIS and automated manufacturing system (smart factory), a concern far away from the MIS academia. Further, this paper suggested future research subjects of MIS such as developing software to share big production data and systems to support manufacturing decisions, and innovating MIS curricula including smart and intelligent manufacturing technology within the context of traditional enterprise systems.

1Process Performance Feedback and Quality Goal Setting as Sources of Process Restrictiveness and Behavior Guidance in Electronic Brainstorming

Purpose
Through the provision of real time performance information about who is contributing and who is not in Electronic Brainstorming, prior studies evidenced a significant performance gain. However, it has been observed that the quantity-based performance feedback alone does not have enough restrictiveness to guide the performance behavior throughout the idea generation session. We included the notion of goal setting into the process performance feedback mechanism in an effort to regulate performance behavior and to better understand why individuals in Electronic Brainstorming are not obtaining enough stimulation benefits in the group interaction process.
Design/methodology/approach
We had developed real-time visual process performance feedback and modified to include goal setting. This mechanism visually displays individuals' performances two-dimensionally (quality for each idea vertically and quantity of ideas horizontally along with their goals). As individuals' contributions accumulate, the mechanism reveals performance histories by connecting the sequence of ideas in a time-series format, telling stories of individuals' performances. Then, we compared the performance outcome from this study with the outcomes from two prior studies (i.e., Jung et al., 2010 and Jung, 2014).
Findings
The results showed that the inclusion of goal setting into the process performance feedback solved the issue in the previous study. That was the lower than expected magnitude of performance enhancement of process performance feedback when compared to that of quantity-based feedback. It appears that goals as a motivational technique provide standards for systematic self-evaluation, serving as a cue to regulate performance behavior by strengthening the linkage between effort and performance. Thus, goals seem to set up a self-fulfilling prophecy, preconditioning better performance. However, the outcome still showed that its performance magnitude is unsatisfactory because the outcome of this study turned out to be close to the outcome of just quantity-based performance feedback in Jung et al.'s (2010) study.

Purpose
Customer Loyalty is the most important factor of customer relationship management (CRM). Especially in retailing industry, where customers have many options of where to spend their money. Classifying loyal customers through customers' data can help retailing companies build more efficient marketing strategies and gain competitive advantages. This study aims to construct classification models of distinguishing the loyal customers within a Korean retailing company using data mining techniques with R language.
Design/methodology/approach
In order to classify retailing customers, we used combination of support vector machines (SVMs) and other classification algorithms of machine learning (ML) with the support of recursive feature elimination (RFE). In particular, we first clean the dataset to remove outlier and impute the missing value. Then we used a RFE framework for electing most significant predictors. Finally, we construct models with classification algorithms, tune the best parameters and compare the performances among them.
Findings
The results reveal that ML classification techniques can work well with CRM data in Korean retailing industry. Moreover, customer loyalty is impacted by not only unique factor such as net promoter score but also other purchase habits such as expensive goods preferring or multi-branch visiting and so on. We also prove that with retailing customer's dataset the model constructed by SVMs algorithm has given better performance than others. We expect that the models in this study can be used by other retailing companies to classify their customers, then they can focus on giving services to these potential vip group. We also hope that the results of this ML algorithm using R language could be useful to other researchers for selecting appropriate ML algorithms.

Purpose
The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors which affect users' fatigue and reluctant intention of using a SNS. In particular, this study focused on the fatigue of SNS users, as the recent excessive use of SNS has led to negative effects such as invasion of privacy, addition and social overload. fatigue This research will explain how producing adverse effects by using SNS caused psychological and mental depression. Previous researches explained that mental fatigue associated with SNS is not simple one and it is complicated with various psychological factors. Considering this fact, this study introduced a behavioral economics concept and a social comparison theory in the research model.
Design/methodology/approach
For research purposes, this study developed research hypotheses in order to empirically examine the factors that affect SNS users' fatigue and reluctant intention. The empirical research was based on a poll done through 800 research candidates in the SNS fields and the final 451 responses were collected and used in statistical data analysis. The adaptability, trust, and validity to measurement model were verified and the structural relationship in the research model was analyzed through these 451 responses.
Findings
First of all, maintenance fatigue of SNS had a positive significant effect on coupling and fatigue of SNS and information privacy had a non-significant effect on fatigue. Second, coupling had a negative significant effect on rational inattention, however, perceived cost had a non-significant effect on rational inattention. Third, lateral/upward comparison had a positive significant on user's negative emotions. Meanwhile, user's negative emotions did not have a significant effect on rational inattention.

Purpose
The main purpose of this study is to examine whether the expectations and outcomes of the bicycle-sharing service significantly influence users' expectation disconfirmation, satisfaction, and continuous intention to use. In addition, we will verify the moderating effect of social interaction in bicycle-sharing service on the relationship between satisfaction and continuous intention to use.
Design/methodology/approach
Based on previous studies dealing with determinants of bicycle use, users' expectations and outcomes of the bicycle-sharing service were measured by three variables; accessibility, convenience, and safety. To collect the data, we conducted a survey of undergraduates at a university located in Seoul for three weeks, beginning March 6. Participants completed the first questionnaire, which measured expectations of the bicycle-sharing service based on the attributes and social interaction before using the BSS. After a few weeks, the same participants completed the second questionnaire, which measured outcomes of the outcome, disconfirmation, satisfaction, and continuous intention to use the BSS. Only participants who completed both surveys received monetary compensation. In order to test hypothesis, the Smart Partial Least Square (SmartPLS) modeling technique was applied.
Findings
In terms of main effects, based on the expectation disconfirmation theory, the results indicated that there were significant relationship among expectation, performance, disconfirmation, and satisfaction. In particular, it was verified that disconfirmation completely plays a mediating role between performance and satisfaction. In addition, the moderating effect of social interaction was examined. There was a significant interaction effects of social interaction and satisfaction on the continuous intention to use for leisure purpose. Finally, this study is expected to contribute to the study of resource sharing in the field of tourism and provide baseline information for future research.

Purpose
Along with the growth of smart phones and social networking service (SNS), social commerce continues to expand. Although online reviews have become an important source of the information that consumers use to make purchasing decisions, theoretical development and empirical testing in this area are still limited. Thus, there is a need to develop further understanding about the influence of electronic word-of-mouth (eWOM). Drawing upon the heuristic-systematic model (HSM) which is one of the dual-process theories, this study develops a research model that explains key factors influencing consumers' eWOM credibility. Furthermore, this study verifies that consumer's eWOM credibility is a key determinant of eWOM and purchase intentions.
Design/methodology/approach
The proposed model is empirically tested with 493 users who have experience in WeChat-based social commerce. The structural equation model (SEM) analysis is used to evaluate the research model and hypotheses.
Findings
The major findings are as follows. First, argument quality of eWOM (a systematic factor) has a positive effect on eWOM credibility. Second, source credibility and recommendation consistency of eWOM (heuristic factors) are positively associated with eWOM credibility. Finally, purchase and eWOM intentions greatly depend on eWOM credibility. These results confirm the effectiveness of HSM in explaining eWOM mechanisms in SNS-based social commerce. The details of findings and implications are presented.

Purpose
In this study, the difficulties were analyzed with the field data from two domestic and interview with industry practitioners. And We presented initiatives with feasibilities to overcome the hurdle for progress of easy-payment.
Design/methodology/approach
We collected industry data from two domestic credit card companies and analyzed that data to prove 7 proposition in detail. Also We had interview data from industry practitioners who can understand the relationship between stakeholders. For this analysis, we used the causal loop diagram to find activation inhibition and activation elements about easy-payment.
Findings
The Fintech easy-payment industry has been organically involved in various partners such as customers, merchants, PGs, VANs, credit card issuers, banks, payment providers, terminal manufacturers, etc. and they have been competing against each other to hold leader position in the easy-payment market. Because of the reasons, the easy-payment does not spread out as much as it expects. In this study, the difficulties were analyzed with the field data and interview with industry practitioners and proposed five initiatives with feasibilities to overcome the hurdle for progress of easy-payment. This study helps to understand current situation and issues of Fintech and easy-payment for related research in future.

Purpose
The purpose of this study is to empirically analyze the factors affecting the intention to use the IPA focusing on functional characteristics. Based on the research result, this research has significance in that it not only suggested strategic guidelines for the related business operators, it also helped identify the factors that will influence the intention to use an intelligent personal assistant centering on the functional characteristics of the IPA.
Design/methodology/approach
Accordingly, in an attempt to identify factors that will influence the intention to use the intelligent personal assistant, we proposed a research model, together with a corresponding hypothesis, which incorporates the functional characteristics (personalization, anthropomorphism, autonomy, communication ability, contextual offer) and perceived enjoyment of the intelligent personal assistant into a technology acceptance model. To verify the research hypothesis of this research, we have conducted a questionnaire survey with individuals who have used an intelligent personal assistant as target. And with the data collected from 215 copies of the questionnaire survey, we have carried out a path analysis using the PLS structural equation.
Findings
As a result, it turned out that, of the IPA functional characteristics, personalization had a positive effect on perceived usefulness, autonomy had a positive effect on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Also, communication ability had a positive effect on perceived ease of use and perceived enjoyment, and anthropomorphism and contextual offer had a positive effect on perceived ease of use and perceived enjoyment and turned out to be major factors that increased the use intention of intelligent personal assistant.

Purpose
The purpose of this study is to find the factors for explaining the relationship between the satisfaction of IT consulting and entrepreneurship based on the corporate performance, financial and economic performance.
Design/methodology/approach
This study made a design of the research model by integrating the factors of entrepreneurship and satisfaction of IT consulting on the basis of ecosystem. In addition, this study, did empirical analysis of the structural equation model by PLS(Partial Least Squares) in order to find out the moderating effect of satisfaction of IT consulting on entrepreneurship.
Findings
According to the empirical analysis result, this study confirmed that the moderating effect of satisfaction of IT consulting on entrepreneurship, which increase the influence the effect of entrepreneurship on the corporate performance. However, the second order factor of enterprise ecosystem has no effect on the corporate performance. In addition, this study find out that the important role of IT consulting according to the change of business environment.

Purpose
This paper tired to identify the consumers' tendency with individual features and social influence as the independent variables because of the importance of identifying the various needs of financial consumers in accordance with the expansion of new financial demands. Furthermore, this paper included the relative attraction of Fintech and switching cost from mobile banking to Fintech as the variables.
Design/methodology/approach
To analyze the empirical study, data was collected online by conducting the questionnaire survey with 247 individuals who had used the Fintech service. The study results would provide us with the understandings of the factors influencing on the customer satisfaction and switching value recognized by consumers in case of switching from the existing mobile banking to the Fintech service.
Findings
The results would provide useful implications to the academic and the practical fields including the Fintech enterprises expanding the activation of Fintech industry.
