As the age of the fourth industrial revolution comes, automation technologies such as machine learning and artificial intelligence are affecting the profession of the tourism industry. Within the next 10 years, artificial intelligence technology is increasingly applied to various fields of the tourism industry. The more specific purpose of this study was to analyze the recognition of university students for job replacement level and influences of artificial intelligence. Data collection was carried on Oct, 2016 for 125 university students. As for the results of analysis, the possibility of substituting the artificial intelligence technology by occupation of tourism industry shows that tourist interpretation guides(61.8%) is the highest and casino dealers(53.2%), golf course caddies(53.2%) are also high. It also shows that the development of artificial intelligence technology is expected to be influential throughout the tourism sector in the near future, it is inevitable that a collaborative network both academia and industry sector should be established. especially, it is said that they should train artificial intelligence and big data experts in tourism field. Several academic and practical implications are suggested.

The purpose of this study was to provide the direction for whether building hotels are appropriate or not at this time based on DEA analysis. Lately many hotels have been built in Seoul without exact demand analysis. Therefore, I have analyzed financial statements of some hotels located in Seoul. Final results through this study are what type of hotels should be made through differences between areas and hotel grades are as follows: First, we should consider erecting more hotels providing limited-service in the Gangnam area. because hotels giving limited-service in the Gangnam area are the most efficient. Second, second-efficient hotels are the ones offering full-service in the Gangnam area. Third, third-efficient hotels are the ones providing full-service in Seoul except the Gangnam area. Lastly, the least efficient hotels are the ones providing limited-service in Seoul except Gangnam area. according to the research result, we should consider constructing more hotels offering limited -service in the Gangnam area.

The aim of this research was to investigate the subjective well-being as it was perceived by hotel food and beverage employees and to examine the effects of the perceived personality traits(extraversion, optimism, achievement) and intentional activity(social support, leisure activity) on subjective well-being and work engagement. Data were collected from hotel food and beverage employees at 10 five star hotels in Seoul. A total of 241 samples were finally used for the analysis. The statistical tools to be undertaken this research were frequency analysis, confirmatory factor analysis and discriminant validity analysis using the statistical package of SPSS(18.0) and AMOS(18.0). The results of the analysis showed that perceived extraversion, optimism and achievement had significant effect on subjective well-being while the social support and leisure activity did not. The results also indicated that subjective well-being had significant effect on work engagement. Practical implications and limitation of the study are discussed within.

It is an age when AI(artificial intelligence) changes the paradigm of tourism. AlphaGo leadership of creative convergence talents is needed for the age. We have to show true leadership that leads artificial intelligence. The reason for making artificial intelligence is because it is in the basic desire of a survival instinct to live without doing things that you do not want to do, instead of doing things you want to do. A certain number of humans who hate humans should be more alert than mechanical intelligence. Because machines also learn. Learning machine intelligence, which is not based on trust, can lead to an era of disaster caused by machines. Therefore, the only way to turn disaster into a blessing is to make our society and leaders trust, be transparent and honest. We also need to show mutual cooperation to each other for future generations. Therefore, leaders of the AlphaGo Age should have true leadership that leads to artificial intelligence. This study presents the AlphaGo Leadership in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution due to the change of tourism paradigm as follows. Innovative AlphaGo leadership that surpasses traditional leadership, AlphaGo leadership that transforms into a start-up tourist destination, and the use of AlphaGo leadership to nurture productive new technologies.

The purpose of this study is to empirically explore the influence of perceived organizational support and job burnout on the service improvement behavior of BSP travel agency employees. For empirical verification of study model and hypotheses, 262 questionnaires were collected from employees working at a BSP travel agency in Seoul, Korea. The results of this study show as follows; First, Perceived organizational support has significant negative(-) effect on psychophysical and work burnout as sub-parameter of job burnout. On the other hand, it has significant positive(+) effect on the service improvement behavior. Second, psychophysical and work burnout has significant negative(-) effect on the service improvement behavior. Finally, psychophysical and work burnout plays mediating role between perceived organizational support and the service improvement behavior. According to study result, perceived organizational support is significant factor in decreasing job burnout and increasing the service improvement behavior. In addition, perceived organizational support has a direct effect on the service improvement behavior but job burnout has a negative effect on the willing of service improvement behavior.

This study is aimed to examine empirically the effects of transformational leadership of travel managers on organizational commitment and job performance. An empirical survey to identify the purpose of this study was conducted for a employee of large package travel agent in Seoul who currently sell ready made travel products. A total of 210 questionnaires were distributed, and all of the 210 copies were retrieved. A total of 193 questionnaires were used in the empirical analysis, except for 17 questionnaires who responded inappropriately. As a result of the factor analysis, the transformational leadership of travel managers was divided into individual care, charisma, and intellectual stimulation. Organizational commitment and job performance were classified into single dimension. Regression analysis showed that individual care, charisma, and intellectual stimulation had a significant effect on organizational commitment, and charisma and intellectual stimulation had a significant effect on job performance. In addition, organizational commitment also had a significant effect on the job performance of the employees. In the end, the transformational leadership of the travel industry managers is a antecedent factor in enhancing organizational commitment and job performance.

Since marine tourism has become a subject of interest later than usual, there is a lack of research on various aspects of tourism. Therefore, the main focus of the study was analyzed by Textom and Ucinet Program Tools, which are the main focus of big data on maritime tourism, which is becoming important issues on social networks. As a result of the frequency analysis and the whole network analysis, it is important that the course, time information, and port of call are important. As a supplier, the company suggests that it is possible to improve customer satisfaction by preparing detailed travel schedules, details of attractions available at the port of call, recommendations about food, answers and so on. Keywords `travel`, `tourism`, and `sightseeing spot` were important words in the main word centrality analysis. Also, `departure`, `travel course` and `use` were high. These results suggest that the company should have detailed information and publicity services for the starting point and various facilities on the ship. CONCOR analysis showing the correlation between clusters have been analysed that marine tourism customers are interested in the travel schedule, travel plans, transportation, progress, stopovers, ships, tourist buses, internal facilities, fees and marine bills, tour expense. The supplier, a supplier, suggests that when promoting maritime tourism, it is necessary to prepare services that reflect these contents.

The purpose of this study is to identify positive psychological capital as an antecedent of intrinsic learning motivation. Data were collected from college students majoring in tourism in Seoul. Positive psychological capital was measured by four factors; self-efficacy, optimism, hope, resilience. Intrinsic learning motivation was measured by three factors: challenging assignment, curiosity, independent achievement. Structural equation model analysis was conducted to examine hypotheses. The results are as follows. First, two factors of positive psychological capital, self-efficacy and hope, had a significantly positive influence on intrinsic learning motivation. On the other hand, optimism of positive psychological capital had a significantly negative influence on intrinsic learning motivation, and resilience of positive psychological capital had no impact on it. The results can suggest practical implications to improve intrinsic learning motivation by creating ways to enhance self-efficacy and hope of positive psychological capital.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between the servicescape of traditional market in 2016 and satisfaction and behavioral intention of visitor in 2016. In order to achieve the purpose of the study, we distributed 250 questionnaires to tourists visiting Busan International Market in 2016 and finally collected 198 valid data. The results of the multiple regression analysis using SPSS 20.0 program were as follows: First, as a result of verifying the relationship between servicescape and tourist satisfaction in Busan, factors affecting product/publicity were responding/providing information, safety/ parking factor, The factors affecting the results were as follows: facilities/circulation, response/information provision. The convenience facilities were influenced by facilities/circulation, response/information provision, safety/parking factors. Second, factors affecting overall satisfaction were the order of facility/flow line, safety/parking, response/information provision, and factors influencing return visit were facility/Response/information provision, safety/parking factors. Factors affecting recommendation intention were analyzed in terms of facility/route, response/information provision, safety/parking factor. Third, the satisfaction of tourists visiting the Busan International Market was the result of verifying the relationship between behavioral intention and satisfaction. The factors affecting the overall satisfaction were food/nearby tourist factors, commodity/promotional factors, convenience facilities factors, Factors were food/surrounding tourist factors, commodity/promotional factors, con- venience facilities. Factors influencing recommendation intention were food/surrounding tourist factors, commodity/promotional factors, convenience facilities.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of outdoor leisure function, leisure commitment, and leisure enthusiasm on the self - efficacy of participants participating in leisure activities in rural areas. The results of the empirical analysis show that the relationship between leisure flow and leisure commitment is positively related to leisure flow. The relationship between Leisure flow and behavior commitment is related to leisure environment function, perception immersion, natural environment, daily escape, And leisure activities, leisure activities, leisure activities, leisure activities, local cultural factors, Outdoor leisure activities in the rural areas were significantly related only to leisure activities, daily activities, outdoor activities and local culture. In the rural area, the relationship between outdoor leisure activity and self - efficacy is significantly related to the sub-hypothesis. The relationship between the sense of accomplishment and self - confidence, Behavioral commitment formed a significant relationship to self - confidence. In the rural area, leisure enthusiasm was significantly related to self - efficacy, sub - hypothesis, achievement and self - confidence, and leisure enthusiasm had a significant relationship with self efficacy.
