With rapid development of information and communication technologies, open collaboration can be eased through the Internet. Open source software, as a representative area of open collaboration, is developed and adopted to various fields. In this research, based on organizational learning theory, we examine the impacts of exploration and exploitation on innovation performance in open source software development projects. We define knowledge exploration as a number of developers from outside organization and knowledge exploitation as the ratio of member of an organization who participated in an open source software project managed by the organization. For analysis, we collect data of 4794 projects from github which is a representative open source software development platform using Web crawler developed by Python. As a result, we find that excessive exploration has curvilinear (invers U-shape) relationship on project performance. On the other hand, exploitation with enough external developers will positively impact on project performance.

Knowledge creation has become one of core assets for companies` survival and success, companies are putting their effort to find the way to stimulate sharing knowledge among their workers. In this vein, the purpose of this study was to examine the effect of supervisor support and co-worker support on knowledge sharing and the mediating effects of work engagement. 328 employees from varity of organizations located in Korea particiapted for questionnaire survey. Structural equation modeling was used to analyze the data. The result has shown that the static correlation exists between supervisor support, co-worker support and work engagement. Co-worker support had positive influences on knowledge sharing intention. However, supervisor support did not have any influence on knowledge sharing intention. There was a mediate effect of work engagement between both of supervisor and co-worker support and knowledge sharing intention. The study implies that co-worker support is important in order to improve organizational learning and work engagement as a strategy to enhance organizational performance.

This study analyzes the structural relationships among communication pattern of leader, followers` trust in leader, organizational commitment and innovative behavior. In order to analyze hypotheses, the survey was collected by distributing questionnaire to 250 workers in small and medium-sized companies. As a result, total 213 workers participated in the survey and their rates were included for the test process. The collected data analyzed structural equation modeling, a statistical program. The results of this study are as follows; First, supportive and reflective communication pattern of leader have meaningful positive influences on followers`trust in leader. Directive communication pattern of leader, by contrast, is negatively related to followers`trust in leader. Second, followers`trust in leader has a positive impact on organizational commitment. Third, organizational commitment has a positive effect on followers`innovative behavior.
Based on these results, it can be said that followers`trust in leader is more important for boosting organizational commitment and innovative behavior because it has a positive effect on organizational commitment with supportive or reflective communication behavior of leader. Therefore, this study proposes practical benefits to leaders regarding how to display communication process and trust quality more effectively. Future studies are required to investigate the research agendas on the issues between communication patterns and innovative behavior.

In the success of an IT project, the role of S/W developer in carrying out the project is critical and crucial. However, compared to its importance, there is only a few studies on the role of human resources in software engineering field, mainly focusing on technology. Based on regulatory focus theory, this study examines how the effect of technology recency on developer`s intention to participate in the IT project changes depending on the regulatory focus of the software developer. As a result of the experiment, it was confirmed that there is a difference in the effect of technology recency on project participation intention according to the condition of developer`s regulatory focus. This study is meaningful because it extends regulatory focus theory to software engineering field and made theoretical contribution to the research field of behavioral software engineering. In practical, it was possible to suggest a way to improve the intention of the developer to participate in the project, by understanding the software developer in the IT project, considering the software developer propensity and project characteristics.

Word-of-mouth (WOM), the communication between consumers offline, has transformed to include electronic word-of-mouth (eWOM), which has grown in its influence due to the advancements in communication technology. Despite the fact that many researchers have studied the impact of WOM and eWOM on the performance of movies in the movie industry, there still exists much controversy. Therefore, this study investigates the relationship of eWOM`s volume and valence with the box office revenue for 2 years in Korean movies industry. The results show that the volume of eWOM, which is expected to related to awareness diffusion, is more important than the valence in the early stage of movie release. And in the later stage, the valence of eWOM which is expected to related to persuasion effect influences the box office revenue. In addition, the relationship of the volume and valence on box office revenue in both early and later stage can be increased through the interaction with the star power which raises the familiarity or the movie genre which causes the high arousal.

This study examines the effects of failed airline services on the consumers` psychological process and their behavioral responses. Having different classifications from the previous studies, this study focuses on dividing important factors of airline services into search attributes(e.g. sale and procedure services, services concerning flight attendant, in-flight services) and experience attributes(e.g. flight services, collateral services). Using structural equation modeling, this study shows that the failure of service factors of the experience attributes provokes the feeling of disappointment with mediation effect of external attribution while the failure of service factors of search attributes provokes the feeling of regret with mediation effect of internal attribution. Finally, disappointment leads to consumers` complaint behavior while regret leads to consumers` switching behavior. Unlike previous studies, we show that when a service failure occurs, depending on each attribute, consumers feel negative emotions of disappointment or regret through different attribution processes and finally show different behavioral responses with an empirical analysis.

Knowledge is important to both individuals and organizations. Individuals can have the opportunity to have bargaining power within their organisations by having knowledge of know-how and ideas. Having ample knowledge of the organization can bring about advantages in securing competitive advantage. Organization wants to encourage employees to share knowledge. Despite the efforts to enhance knowledge sharing, often the effort failed. Employees are unwilling to share their knowledge or hide their knowledge.
The purpose of this study is to clarify the relationship between knowledge hiding and knowledge sharing based on exploring the influence factors of knowledge hiding and knowledge sharing. As a result, the influence factors of knowledge hiding and knowledge sharing were different. The influences of knowledge hiding influenced knowledge hiding only and did not affect knowledge sharing. This implies that knowledge hiding and knowledge sharing do not exist on a single line but exist independently of each other, such as `Herzberg`s two-factor theory`. This study suggests that knowledge hiding is a field of interest as well as knowledge sharing. In practice, it is suggested that the concept of promoting knowledge sharing is not a way to reduce knowledge hiding, so the two concepts should be managed separately.
