The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of Character Strengths and Self-efficacy for Chinese students through traditional Korean dance Education Programs participation and provide the basis for a success-ful study abroad. The study subjects were 60 Chinese students attending at 4-year university located in south chungcheong province. The experimental group of 30 people were participated traditional Korean dance Education Programs and a control group of 30 people were not participated. This study is used as a data collection too, which was a questionnaire composed of demographic variables, values in Action-Inventory of Str-engths: VIA-IS, Self-efficacy scale:SES. The data was subjected to the fre-quency analysis, the correlation analysis, independent samples t-test, paired sample t-test using the SPSS 17.0, derived results are as follows. First, the group that attend Korean dance Education Pro-grames showed a higher average of Character Strengths factors than non-attendance group. Second, the group that attend traditional Korean dance Education Programs showed higher Self-efficacy factors than non-attendance group. Third, the traditional Korean dance Education Program was found a positive effect on Character Strengths. Fourth, the traditional Korean dance Education Program showed a positive impact on Self-efficacy. Therefore, participated the traditional Korean dance Education Programs for Chinese students has a positive impact on Character Strengths and Self-efficacy.
