The purpose of this study is to analyze upper elementary school students` fear of child sexual violence, prevention behavior, and experiences of child sexual violence. Data were collected from surveys among 611 upper elementary school students in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do Province. The data were analyzed using the SPSS 19.0 Program verified by t, and one-way ANOVA, Pearson`s correlation and logistic regression analysis. The results are as follows. First, there were differences in fear of child sexual violence, prevention behavior, and victims` experiences depending on children`s characteristics. Second, children who had more fear of sexual violence tended to have more prevention behavior. Besides, children who had more prevention behavior were less likely to be sexually victimized. Lastly, boys were more likely to be sexually abused when they had more prevention behavior. For girls, they experienced more sexual abuse when they were older and had more fear of sexual violence. To plan and carry out effective sexual violence prevention education for children, children`s characteristics should be considered. Besides, the education programs should consist of methods that help children to recognize sexual violence and have prevention behavior.

The purpose of this study is to understand the temperament of infant(1month~36 months) who are reared in the institution apart from their biological rearer, and the general attachment propensity recognized by the infant caregiver. The subjects of this study were the infant(N=103) and caregiver(N=36) in the 7 selected institutionalized center. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, looking into the temperament of the institutionalized infant, the average score by the lower category of temperament showed the gentle, continuous, reactive, active and adaptable in order. The temperament is found to have no correlation according to the infant`s variables such as gender, ages and rearing period. Second, looking into how infant-caregiver`s general attachment propensity was, it indicated high score in the seeking contact, protection, expectation, bonding, positive emotion, self-sacrificing, proximity seeking and apathy. In addition, as for the infant caregiver`s related variables(age, career, number of infants under charge, satisfaction degree, work type), the subordinate variables such as proximity seeking and expectation were correlated to their work satisfaction. According the work type, apathy and expectation showed significant differences. Meanwhile, the ageand period of rearing showed the significant correlation with expectation of the attachment. In addition, the period of rearing showed significant correlation with self-sacrificing. Third, in the result of examination as to whether the institutionalized infant`s temperament and attachment are related, it was analyzed that those two were generally correlated.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of ego resilience on drinking problem and social maladaptation on acculturative stress and depression of Chinese students. The subjects were composed of 169 Chinese students who were in the university of Seoul, Kyeongsang do, Jeolla do area. Using PASW 18.0 program, descriptive analysis, Pearson correlation, moderated multiple regression were conducted. Acculturative stress was negative correlation with ego resilience and was positive correlation with depression, drinking problem and social maladaptation. Also this study showed that moderating effect such as ego-resilience can decrease acculturative stress and depression effecting on drinking problem and social maladaptation. Therefore, this study provides the available knowledge for helping Chinese students to adjust better to Korean university life and culture.

The objective of this research was to try to comprehend how the Character Development Program for elementary school students, who benefited from the educational welfare, can have an effect on their self-esteem and how satisfied they are with their school life. For this research, 44 children, who are in the educational welfare priority support projects, were chosen from “B” Elementary school in “A” City. They were divided into two groups?Experimental and Control?with 22 students in each. In a span of 9 sessions, the Experimental group participated in the Character Development Program. In addition, in order to measure the self-esteem and the satisfaction of the school life, pre-, post- and further tests were given. Moreover, as for the data processing, the mean and standard deviation were discovered utilizing the test results. Furthermore, the Analysis of Covariance(ANCOVA) was performed to verify the hypothesis of this research. As a result, the Character Development Program had a positive effect on the self-esteem and the satisfaction of the school life of children who benefited from the educational welfare.

This research takes aim at developing anger management program and examining its effectives in order to use it in practice. Furthermore, the it aims at prevention of child abuse and reoccurrence and creation of healthy family. The procedure of this study was based on examination of documents and previous studies. Developed program was implemented eight sessions from 14 October to 9 December 2011. One session takes around two and a half hours. The total subjects of this study is 9. The subjects assigned to experimental group applying for the program included five abusive parents who were intervened to child protection agency in Seoul and judged to need counsel and education. The 4 subjects who were intervened in Gyonggi-do child protection agency were included to control group. In order to examine the effect of this program, the pre-test, post-test, follow up-test were compared on experimental group and control group. The result indicated that there were changes in experimental group with participant`s parent efficacy, anger level, child-rearing stress. In addition, by assessment of group progress in terms of quality, individual changes and effects were confirmed.
