We analyzed the overall pollution states within the lake hyangho. From the point pollution source, pollution loadings of living wastewater were more strong than excretions and livestock wastewater followed with pig>korean beef>milk cow>dog>deer. Non point pollution source was 475.4 kg/km2 · day, relatively small than point pollution source. Sediments in lake hyangho represented that rate of water content was 44.4~63.9%, pH was 6.73~8.06, COD was 19.7~73.3 mgO2/g dw, Mn was 0.050~0.168 mg/g dw,, Fe was 0.918~1.470 mg/g dw. Water qualities in lake hyangho showed that pH was 7.9~9.0, BOD was 3.1~6.8, COD was 6.4~15.7 mg/ L, DO was over 7.5 mg/L, conductivity was 6,348~23,415 μS/cm. Specially T-N was 0.548~0.967 mg/L and T-P was 0.027~0.061 mg/L. These materials conformed to 3 level as water quality class and generated eutrophication. It is necessary to improve the water quality in lagoon. So we will continue to study the overall impacts around lagoons in the eastern coast.
