본 연구는 라이프스타일의 변화에 의해 나타난 현대인의 특성 또는 취향, 선호에 따라 식공간 디자인의 선택 및 식(食)공간을 활용할 수 있는 새로운 개념의 식공간 디자인을 제안하고자 한다. 단편적이고 획일적인 식공간 디자인에서 탈피하여 현대인의 선호에 맞춘 식공간 디자인의 선택의 폭을 넓히고자 한다. 라이프스타일이 변화하고 서양문화가 도입되면서 자연스럽게 다양한 파티문화를 접하게 되었다. 파티문화는 비슷한 가치관, 생활방식을 지니는 사람들끼리 자신만의 생활 범주를 만들어 가는 현상이 확산되면서 하나의 라이프스타일로 자리매김하고 있다. 이러한 이유로 다양한 형태의 파티문화가 우리사회에 자리 잡게 되었으며 파티문화의 보급과 더불어 개인이나 단체, 기업에서도 파티에 대한접근이 빠르게 확산되어 가고 있다. 본 연구에서는 라이프스타일의 이해와 식공간디자인의 유형을 살펴보고, 한국사회에 적응, 발달해 가고 있는 파티문화의 공간연출 범위를 넓히고 커뮤니케이션 자료로 활용되도록 한다. 더불어 라이프스타일이 변화되면서 요구되는 파티문화라는 코드를 중심으로 식공간 안에서 일어나는 행위와 공간연출을 조사, 분석하여 유형화하고자 했다.

This study suggests new conceptual Food Space Design which could be applied to modern Food Space that is changed with lifestyle, especially modern people`s character, taste, and preference. Also it tries to extend choice of food Space Design to modern people`s fondness which is got out of typical bothering traditional Food Space Design. As a lifestyle changed, and accustomed to western life style, western party culture had become a unique lifestyle among Koreans for gatherings with similar value-keepers and life style-goers. For this reason, various form of party culture set itself in our society and the party with the dissemination of culture, individuals or organizations, companies also have access to the party is becoming rapidly expanding. In this study, an understanding of lifestyle and look at the type of Food space Design, South Korea to adapt to society, the party went well developed cultural production of space to expand our range of communication materials to be used as is. Converted requirements as well as lifestyle changes, code-named party, focusing on culture, behavior and spatial design and Food space Inside the investigation, analysis and typology tries.
