Guidance is one of the most difficult of all educational subjects to discuss because of the past and continuing confusion and uncertainty concerning its nature and function.  Our increasingly complex environment and awareness of individual differences make an attempt at guidance in the school inevitable.  Ideally conceived, guidance enables each individual to know his abilities, interest, and personality traits, to develop them as well as possible, to keep them flexible in order to meet the demands of a fluid environment, to relate them his life goals and to clarify these goals, and finally to reach a state of complete and mature self-guidance as a desirable citizen of our democratic social order and of the world.  In this context, the researchers attempt to investigate the problems of guidance in the elementary, secondary schools and university in Korea ever since guidance way, introduced in Korea in 1957. And we tried to find out proper solutions to develop potentiality of each individual by way of guidance program from each school authorities.  The contents of the study was summarized as follows :  1. to find out the theoretical background of guidance services in general  2. to investigate the actual condition of professional counselors in the each schools  3. to analyze the problems of guidance in the each school  4. to suggest the solutions of the problems in the each school  5. to illustrate the present status of counseling and method in elementary, secondary, secondary school and university  6. to suggest the role and duty of the counselor in the school  7. to show the suggestions of policy making to promote the execution of guidance.   The findings and suggestions of this study were summarized as following items.  1. It is necessary to systematize professional counselor system for actualizing counseling activity and career guidance in the elementary school  2. It is required to assist administrative function and financial help for establishing counseling room in the elementary school  3. It its necessary to dispatch professional counselor in each school and required to utilize the counseling room for all students  4. It is required to regulate the system of counselor certificate and to be changed into inservice training for the temporary counseling training course employed so far.  5. It is suggested to install career information center to the each school and to advise to use them effectively.  6. It is necessary to execute standardized test such as intelligence, aptitude, personality test, interest, creativity, scholastic aptitude test, and vocational interest test in the school and to utilize them positively.  7. It is suggested to utilize the student guidance center in the university and to emphasize counseling service function by counselor.  8. It is necessary to establish student`s suggestion box to each school and suggest to solve the problems which students ask for.

This study attempts to find the way of effective women`s career counseling to solve their problems through the several theories of career development - Super`s self - concept development theory, Roe`s personality theory of career choice, Holland`s career typology theory, Conceptual framework for occupational choice of Blau, Gustad. Jessor, Parnes and Wilcock. These theories are concerning to the career counselor`s role to maximize women`s individual development. In many cases, women are considered as a divided class rather than as an individual with ability, interest, aspiration. Administrators, employers, teachers, career counselors have a tendency of decision making of women`s education and employment based on sex rather than their individual interest, ability, aptitude.  But women ask how they can make an effort to live as an individual under the conditions of hindrance of exploiting women`s labor force, job discrimination by the sex, women`s responsibilities of children and family, prejudice in labor world, and other cultural restrictions. The need of job for qualified women to be accepted equally as men is appeared, but there is little evidence of changing women to access the traditional man`s area of work in educational institutions.  This study is for psychologist of counseling. Psychology of counseling is standing on the point to accept the challenge of Samler and their social action and their effect to our profession.  In Korea, there are many persons to have a concept that women are trained but cheap labor force. To correct these misunderstanding this study attempts to introduce women`s career counseling in relation to the realities of our social conditions like waste land of these area.

The objective of this study is to present methodology to expand the facilities and equipment of experimentation and practice, to strengthen experimentation and practicing in education, and to give autonomy to education so as to achieve the eventual goal of agricultural education by operating such experimentation and practicing in education more effectively in agricultural high schools.  The study has been carried out by referring to books and other publications and surveying the current situation of experimentation and practicing in education at schools. The survey began with the distribution of a questionnaire to each of fifty nine agricultural high schools around the country in the middle of October, 1988. Thirty seven questionnaires (63%) were collected and they were analyzed according to average value, frequency and percentage. The contents of the survey were largely composed of things relevant to the facilities and equipment of experimentation and practicing in education, the validity of the standards of the facilities and equipment, the current possession of the facilities and equipment, the content and effect of the education, and the call for autonomous operation in education.  The following is a summary of the survey result.  1. Curriculums of city agricultural high schools are mostly centered on the field which may be seen by students as a growing industry in current agriculture. While those of the rural schools are not much affected by recent agricultural policies or changes.  2. It shows that in the operating aspect of experimentation and practicing in education at agricultural high schools, the quantity of facilities for the education in those schools around the country was unsatisfactory and their space was below the standard at the Act on Experimentation and Practice enacted and declared by a Presidential decree. However, according to the survey, in 26 of the 44 items except in the cases with uncertain space standards, urban schools are equipped with laboratories with space above the standard, unlike agricultural schools in other places.  3. It shows that with the exceptions of those in agricultural product processing chamber, farm warehouse, and oil storage facilities, facilities in all remaining 8 public laboratories were insufficient.  1) The Department of Agriculture : Silkworm rearing rooms and drying rooms had enough experimental facilities and equipment. Farm management rooms and farm product storage rooms did not have sufficient facilities.  2) The Department of Animal Husbandry Laboratories generally had sufficient facilities and equipment.  3) The Department of Horticulture had enough facilities and equipment except for in low temperature storage.  4) The Departments of Forestry, Sericulture, Agricultural Civil Engineering, Agricultural Product Manufacture, Agricultural Mechanics, Enlightenment of Rural Communities, and Farming Home Economics did not have enough facilities and equipment.  4. Experimental and practicing in education is well performed in the areas of making instruction plans, presentation of specific practice goals in the plan, preparing facilities and materials before practice, motivating students to learn during the practices, presenting proper demonstrations of the practice, observing and guiding practice activities, instructing students to apply the acquired skills to farming and to have good attitude toward job, the consistency of the goal and the standard of practice evaluating, and in the use of objective evaluating methods, while master planning of practice contents, the instruction on harvesting and independent problem solving, formative evaluation during practice, and self evaluation and supplementary lessons after practice which are included in the instruction contents are not properly carried out.  5.
