본 연구는 스마트폰 시대의 양질의 애플리케이션이 활발히 제공될 수 있게 실질적으로 애플리케이션개발자를 지원하는 방안을 찾는 것을 목표로 한다. 양질의 애플리케이션을 생산하기에는 현재의 지원방안이 충분하지 않다는 점에 기인하여 본 연구가 시작되었다. 연구를 위해 국내에서 애플, 안드로이드 기반의 애플리케이션을 등록해본 경험이 있거나 현재 개발 중에 있는 1인 개발자 및 개발사 대표 43명을 대상으로 인터뷰를 진행하였다. 인터뷰 데이터는 3개의 대분류(마케팅지원, 개발지원, 사업지원)로 나누어 분석하였다. 비록 몇몇 개발자들을 위한 지원방안은 이미 시행되고 있으나, 연구에서 보여준 마케팅 및 사업영역 지원방안은 유용하고 실질적이라는 점에서 중요한시사점을 제공한다.

This paper is aimed at practical application developer support ways to vitalize providing a good quality application under smart phone environment. Our research motive was application developer`s VOC(Voice Of Customer) that only physical support ways are not enough to produce good quality app. For the purpose of finding practical support ways, we interview 43 developers(person, company) who has experience to develop application(Apple or Android) or has plan to develop application in the future. Interview data has been categorized into 3 sectors that are marketing support area, development support area and business support area. Although some of our finding support ways are already available for developers, we find marketing area and business area support ways are considerably useful and practical.
