1두피마사지와 스웨디쉬 마사지가 중년여성의 안면 피부상태에 미치는 효과

To analyze the effects of scalp massage on the facial skin conditions of middle-aged women, this study was conducted in 20 women in their forties and fifties, who were divided into two groups: the scalp group provided with scalp massage (N=9) and the face group provided with Swedish facial massage (N=11). The sebum content on the U and T zones, the pores size, facial wrinkles, and facial pigmentation were measured for a total of four weeks to make comparisons: before the experiment and at weeks 1, 2, 3, and 4 of the experiment. Additional comparisons of variation in the sebum content on the U and T zones, in the pores size, in facial wrinkles, and in facial pigmentation were made between before the experiment and week 1, between week 1 and week 2, between week 3 and week 4, and between before and after the experiment (between week 0 and week 4). The scalp group showed a higher level of facial wrinkles than the face group at week 1 (p<.05). The scalp group showed a greater increase in sebum variation on the U zone between week 3 and week 4 and between before and after the experiment (between week 0 and week 4) (p<.05). The sebum variation on the T zone increased in the scalp group and decreased in the face group (p<.05). As the scalp group was more satisfied with massage (p<.05), it is thought that the massage helped the middle-aged women become emotionally stable by reducing muscle stress.

In modern society, the participation of women in the labor force has been common. For success at work, an image that fits perfectly with the job improves self-esteem and enhances a positive image across society. Therefore, a personal image could represent his/her job with a significant effect. For such image creation, hairstyling is essential. Therefore, this study attempted to sort the occupations preferred by elementary, junior high, and high school girls who would soon become career women and investigate hairstyling-related behaviors in those preferred jobs. Furthermore, such behaviors were divided into the following: self-presentation, visits to a beauty salon, motive for hairstyling and trend orientation. The results found that self-presentation, visits to a beauty salon, motive for hairstyling and trend orientation showed significant differences by occupation. Therefore, it is necessary for hairdressers to create more satisfying and convenient hairstyles considering customers' occupation and image. With the perception that the occupations mentioned in this study are those that have long been wanted, not just temporarily desired, this study targeted to help future career women have an image of success. In consideration of women's self-hairstyling behavior, furthermore, it is necessary to propose hairstyles that can be easily done by customers.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of beauty education service quality of beauty school on career preparation behavior and career aspiration of beauty school students. The results of this study are as follows. First, the general characteristics of the survey subjects were as follows: female students were more than male students (85.4%), the ages were the teenagers (62.4%), the monthly average income was less than 1 million won (82.0%), The most subjects were hair, followed by skin, makeup, and nail. Second, it was found that the effect of beauty education service quality on career aspiration had a significant positive effect. Third, the effect of beauty education service quality on career preparation behavior was significant. The purpose of this study is to provide quality education services and marketing materials.

The significance and objective of this study are to suggest the possibility of expression by classifying total 12 adjective image scales and then analyzing the relevant images based on the photo data extracted through data search on the roles in the expression of hair accessory, costume, and background image suitable for the image after understanding the adjective image, color-matching image, and women's hairstyle. The 12 adjective images included the cute image, cheerful image, dynamic image, fancy image, modern image, clear image, natural image, elegant image, gentle image, mild image, delicate image, and noble image. The hairstyle using the adjective image scale was applied to the image color-matching and image scaling. Just like the above results, the possibility of expressing more diverse hairstyles and the applicability of image could be verified by understanding the women's hairstyle using the adjective image scale. Based on this study, there should be continuous researches on the beauty image and hairstyles of adjective image and diverse images. This study aims to establish the basis of beauty image expression for the expression of sensibility image.

This study investigated female university student perception of tattoos on celebrity figures and the behavior of imitation. Celebrity perception of tattoos (r=.394, p<.001) and imitative behavior (r=.244, p<.01) showed a positive correlation with the perception of interest in tattoos with statistical significance. In addition, celebrity perception (r=.231, p<.01) showed a positive correlation with the perception of tattoo treatment with statistical significance. Furthermore, celebrity perception (r=.164, p<.05), perception of tattoos (r=.423, p<.001) and imitative behavior (r=.294, p<.001) represented a positive correlation with the perception of institutional elements on tattoos with statistical significance. Celebrity perception (r=.382, p<.001), perception of tattoos (r=.368, p<.001) and tattoo imitation (r=.313, p<.001) showed a positive correlation with the perception of tattoo images with statistical significance. This confirms that in terms of celebrities' perception of tattoos, how celebrities view personal tattoo treatment, institutional recognition and image is important.

The research is to understand how emotional labor effects both interpersonal stress and communication, also how emotional labor effects interpersonal stress with communication as mediated effect. This research is conducted for worker in beauty parlor in Seoul through internet survey. First, Emotional labor has direct effect on interpersonal stress. We could understand the heavier emotional labor worker experiences, the worse effect on interpersonal stress worker experiences. Second, Emotional labor has direct effect on communication. We could understand the more positive communication worker experiences, the less interpersonal stress (the less emotional labor) worker experience. Third, the positive communication such as communication ability in group, communicative and emotional expression with superior, strong cohesion with colleague, sharing information with management has good impact on interpersonal stress. The better communication worker experiences, the less interpersonal stress worker experiences. Forth, There's a correlation among emotional labor, interpersonal stress and communication. The emotional labor that worker experiences has direct effect on not only interpersonal stress but also communication. Therefore, special program for interpersonal relationship, knowledge, counselling education should be implemented for worker to prevent worse interpersonal stress that result from heavy emotional labor. In addition, the management should have interest in this issue. The consistent invest and attention should be required to make activation plan for efficient communication in group.

The purpose of this study were to investigate the appearance awareness and the attitude toward appearance on the appearance management behavior of university students. For data collection, the questionnaire was administered 481 male and female university students in Chungbuk. To analyze the data, descriptive statistics, cross analysis, factor analysis, ANOVA, t-test and regression analysis were conducted using the SPSS 23.0 statistics package. As a result of researching appearance awareness(appearance interest, appearance management importance and appearance self evaluation)of university students, 60.9% of subjects showed high interest in appearance, 90.6% thought appearance management important, only 16.2% satisfied with their own appearance. The appearance awareness partially showed significant differences depending on the characteristics of subject(gender, height awareness and monthly cost for appearance). The attitudes toward appearance were classified into 5 attitude factors including self expression, other's view, focusing on body shape, social achievement and plastic surgery. The attitudes toward appearance showed the highest score in self expression, showed the lowest score in plastic attitude. The attitudes toward appearance partially showed significant differences depending on the characteristics of subject(gender, monthly cost for appearance and place of growth). The appearance management behaviors were classified into 7 factors including face care, clothes management, active weight control, plastic surgery, hair care, passive weight control and skin care. Among appearance management behavior, the clothes management and hair management behavior showed high average score, showed low score in plastic surgery and active weight control. The appearance management behaviors partially showed significant differences depending on the gender and monthly cost for appearance. It was found that the appearance awareness level and the attitude toward appearance of university students had positive and negative influences on the appearance management behavior.

The purpose of this study is to explore the effects of lavender and citrus blended essential oils on stress, depression and anxiety. A meta-analysis is conducted on research papers with nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group research design providing mean and standard deviation of change values published until July, 2018. Hedges' g based on the mean difference of pre/post-test change for experimental and control groups is used to calculate the effect size of meta-analysis. It is found that aromatherapy with lavender and citrus blended essential oils is effective on reducing stress, depression and anxiety. It is also found that there is heterogeneity among the effect sizes, and possible publication biases on depression and anxiety. The reasons of heterogeneity could not be identified in this study, however, the reasons of publication biases is explained.

A 3D Pen is a pen-type device which is easily used without a separate software or computer. 3D printing technology has been used in creative fields such as art or the fields that realize imagination and expanded a design area. The researchers consider that the beauty industry could produce creative works in design with new materials and technology using 3D printing technology. This study will use the result as a novel object for makeup. The purpose of this study was to develop 3-dimensional and experimental makeup design focused on Iris van Herpen's fashion. For the theoretical research, the characteristics and makeup characteristics of Iris van Herpen's fashion show and the concept, characteristics, and kinds of 3Doodler were examined based on previous researches, Internet data, and specialized materials. For the empirical research, make-up design was developed based on the concept of Iris van Herpen's fashion show(1984). The scope of the study was from S/S 2011 when a fashion collection was first presented using 3D Pen to F/W 2018, the latest collection. Of them, two pairs of clothes were selected. A concept was established and a bill of materials(BOM) was made. The makeup image for Iris van Herpen's fashion show was presented to the face of a real model using 3Doodler. Adobe Photoshop 6.0 program was used for the illustration work of BOM. The development of makeup design for Iris van Herpen's fashion show using 3D Pen is the meeting of digital technology and makeup. It will become an example of applying creative technology to makeup design.

In this era of emotional consumption, hair coloring has been widely used as a means to fulfill playful desires, generate personality and meet personal needs and purposes to create a unique hair color. This study analyzed current hair coloring practices in beauty salons and customers' satisfaction among adult women in Seoul, Gyeonggi and Gangwon. As a result of analyzing the actual condition of the hair dyeing activity in the beauty salon, the higher the age, the more favored the 'small/mid-sized' beauty salon' and the 'reliable to the expert' was important. And, according to occupation, the use distribution of 'small/mid-sized' beauty salon was high overall. According to the marriage status, unmarried women had a high distribution for 'diversion', and married women had high distribution for 'grown hair cover'. Regardless of 'occupation' and 'monthly income', the frequency of visits to hairdressers was highest in 'every 2-3 months', followed by 'professional', 'housewife', and 'technical' It was found that they were aware of the harmful components of the hair dye. In difference testing on satisfaction with hair coloring in a beauty salon, any consultation for preventing side effects or preparation of a customer card was poor. Scalp or hair care before and after the treatment for preparing side effects was also unsatisfying. The study results are meaningful in that they would be available as basic data needed to understand the conditions in selecting a beauty salon for consumers to stay healthy and enhance the effects of hair coloring.
