The constant desire to pursue women's beauty is improving the quality of life for women with the development of the nail industry. This trend also affects nail art and the development of the nail industry is accelerating in a progressive way to double the femininity and the beautiful emotion with artistic acts using various expression techniques. Nail art is a field that is recreated in various designs by various expression techniques and the subjective intention of the artist in the small area of nails. Nail art plays an important part in expressing oneself with the self-satisfaction of self-realization. In addition, according to diversification, individualization, and luxury, they show their own unique fashion leaders, and interest and preference for nails are steadily developing regardless of age. The purpose of this study is to systematically establish the theory of techniques through the classification of nail art expression techniques, to help them to understand them correctly, and to establish the identity of nail art using the right techniques. In line with the advanced needs of women, we should strive to contribute to the development of the nail industry and gain trust in nail art by providing professional knowledge and information on nail art expression techniques. Through the academic approach of nail art, I will be more systematic and specialized to promote the qualitative growth of the technique and to be useful as the theoretical data of the nail art design in the future.

Modern education is changing from one-sided, knowledge-oriented, instructor-led education to active learning by learners themselves. In this study, the contents of classes that should be learned in the up-style curriculum of hairdressing were developed and applied based on PBL, confirming the effects of PBL classes on job basic skills and self-learning evaluations. In this study, the Cronbach's α coefficient was calculated to see the internal consistency of the questions in order to verify the reliability of the questionnaires and the questionnaires for self-study assessment sheets, measured on a multiple question scale. In this study, the problem was developed with the aim of identifying changes in students by combining existing lecture-style classes with PBL-applied classes. To develop the PBL class model, the design model was first developed, and feasibility and usefulness were reviewed through expert advice. The model of the PBL class was designed in eight stages: 1 class development, 2 problem preparation, 3 group discussion, 4 individual learning activities, 5 solution design, 6 presentation and arrangement, 7 direct training, 8 final course evaluation, and applied to a total of 6 classes. As a result of this study, the application of the upstream class model based on PBL to learners was generally more satisfactory than the existing lecture class, and the effectiveness of PBL classes was verified. In order to enhance the satisfaction level of beauty education, diverse and effective teaching methods will need to be developed and applied, not conventional lecture-style classes.

Tattoo is loved as one of the behaviors to express personality in the present age where a variety of thoughts and values co-exist. This study conducted an in-depth survey of motives and types of tattooing by means of an open-ended questionnaire with subjects with tattoos between 20s and 40s of ages in the metropolitan area of Seoul. The result of analysis by age, first of all, showed that the age group in the 20s was dominant with 3 or more tattoos showing a favor of designs with mixture of illustrations and letters. Second, the analysis on the motives to have tattoo revealed the categories such as beauty, assigning meaning to life, pursuit of personality, and functional motives. Third, subordinate motives of beauty were yearning for tattoo, expression of fashion, and sexual appeal, those of assigning meaning to life were resolution, archiving, and storage, those of pursuit of personality were identity, distinctiveness, overcoming image, and those of functional motives were aesthetic supplementation and function of beauty fashion item. In result, it was found that tattoo was expanding as a beauty item along with confirmation of its marketability. Therefore, it is necessary to achieve change of attitude along with the expansion of the market and promote researches and tattoo design development to ease the institutional limitations in the beauty industry.

The purpose of this study was to understand the effects of service quality of waxing shops on the relational commitment and customer loyalty. For this, from December 9th 2019 to December 31st 2019, this study analyzed total 358 questionnaires collected from adult women in their 20s-50s of Seoul and capital area. The results of this study are as follows. First, in the results of conducting the frequency analysis to understand the general characteristics of research subjects, in the highest percentage of them, they were in 30s of age, students/graduates of university for the highest level of education, with 4-6 million won for monthly average income, in professional work/office work for occupation, in pregnancy for the number of children, and had an intention to get procedure in the future. Regarding the part for the procedure in the future, the Brazilian waxing showed the highest intention. Second, in the results of analyzing the effects of service quality of waxing shops on the relational commitment, the subfactors of service quality of waxing shops such as responsiveness, tangibles, and reliability were the important factors on the affective commitment of pregnant women while the subfactors of service quality of waxing shops such as accessibility, responsiveness, and tangibles were the important factors on the calculative commitment of pregnant women. Third, in the results of analyzing the effects of service quality of waxing shops on the customer loyalty, the subfactors of service quality of waxing shops such as accessibility, reliability, and responsiveness were the important factors on the positive word-of-mouth of pregnant women while the subfactors of service quality of waxing shops such as accessibility, tangibles, reliability, and responsiveness were the important factors on the revisit of pregnant women. Based on such results of this study, the service quality was the important factor for the maintenance of long-term relationships and customer loyalty of pregnant women using the waxing service. Thus, the loyal customers should be increased by improving the satisfaction level of service quality through continuous interest and maintenance/increase of relationships with pregnant women.

This study researched the effects of relationship marketing of beauty consultants and cosmetics purchasers on the customer trust and repurchase intention. For this, this study conducted a survey targeting the purchasers in their 20s-50s who had experiences in purchasing cosmetics from beauty consultants, from January 16, 2020 to February 16, 2020. Total 423 questionnaires were used for the final analysis. The results of this study are as follows. First, in the results of analyzing the effects of relationship marketing of beauty consultants and cosmetics purchasers on the customer trust, the professionalism, communication, and customer orientation of relationship marketing of beauty consultants and cosmetics purchasers were important factors. When the professionalism, communication, and customer orientation got higher, the customer trust was increased. The size of influences was shown in the order of customer orientation, communication, and professionalism. Second, in the results of analyzing the effects of relationship marketing of beauty consultants and cosmetics purchasers on the repurchase intention, the professionalism, communication, and customer orientation of relationship marketing of beauty consultants and cosmetics purchasers were important factors. When the professionalism, communication, and customer orientation got higher, the repurchase intention was increased. The size of influences was shown in the order of customer orientation, communication, and professionalism. Such results of this study verified that the subfactors of relationship marketing of beauty consultants and cosmetics purchasers such as professionalism, customer orientation, and communication would be important factors for the improvement of customer trust and repurchase intention of cosmetics purchasers.

6청국장 식이가 40~60대 중년 여성의 두피에 미치는 영향

This study attempted to investigate the effects of the intake of raw cheonggukjang (extra-strong fermented soybean paste) on the scalp of middle-aged women. For this, a total of 20 women aged 40-60s were chosen and divided into two groups: control group (C), and experimental group (E) (10 testees each). Korean traditional fermented food was administered for 12 weeks. Specifically, 50g of raw cheonggukjang was eaten by those from Group 'E' every morning. Before and after the test, moisture index, sebum index, pH, Keratin quantity, erythema pigment quantity, as well as the microbial quantity, were measured and compared, and the results found the followings: In terms of scalp moisture index, Group 'C' decreased by 22.51% while Group 'E' increased by 31.52% (p<.05). Concerning the sebum index, on the contrary, Group 'C' increased by 1.67% while Group 'E' decreased by 3.07% (p<.05). In terms of pH, Group 'C' increased by 2.19% while Group 'E' decreased by 10.62% (p<.05). Regarding keratin quantity, Group 'C' increased by 6.51% while Group 'E' decreased by 13.99% (p<.05). In terms of erythema pigment quantity, Group 'C' increased by 0.82% while Group 'E' decreased by 2.42% (p<.01). Lastly, concerning the microbial quantity, Group 'C' increased by 0.83% while Group 'E' decreased by 0.45% (p<.05). The results have confirmed that the intake of raw cheonggukjang can be effective in improving scalp conditions in middle-aged women.

This research was willing to investigate the necessity of post-management after laser treatment and the role of medical aesthetic by executing moisture management at medical aesthetic after Q-swithced Nd:YAG laser toning. As results of research, First, as the results of investigating the influence of moisture management on conditional change of facial skin after Q-switched Nd:YAG laser toning, there was almost no of moisture after laser treatment but the moisture of both testing group and comparison group increased significantly when comparing to before the treatment. Second, there was the significant difference regarding the fraction in forehead and cheek along the period of measurement, it reduced meaningfully right after Q-switched Nd:YAG laser toning and increased significantly after moisture management. Third, there was no significant difference regarding tension along testing time but the meaningful difference between testing group and comparison group, the tension of testing group was higher than that of comparison group after moisture management and that of testing group was higher than the comparison group after three day later. Fourth, there was no significant change regarding roughness and pigmentation along testing time after laser treatment, three days after the test and the meaningful difference was not shown between testing group and comparison group. So, this research could recognize the importance and necessity of moisture management after laser treatment, become the important basis that highlights the role of aesthetic in medical and suggest the moisture management for customer satisfaction essentially after laser treatment.

In modern society where it is important to express various personalities of individuals, tattoos are used as ornaments to express their personalities. This is part of a culture that is being formed by generations who are not afraid of new changes and are active in interaction. Depending on the aspect of the era, these tattoos have new genres, such as Blackwalk, Geometric, and Stroke, and some originate from the history and traditions of a country, such as Irezumi, Tribal, and Old School. Although tattoos are still regulated in Korea by medical law, it is time to study and succeed the tattoo culture that is rapidly emerging in Korea, as the world is becoming one with SNS. For this reason, we studied the Chicano Tattoo, which was born from Maxico's Chicano Culture and Art, and became a world-renowned master. The aesthetic characteristics of Chicano tattoo patterns were studied by analyzing the design of cartoon. the expression characteristics of Mexican murals, which are the source of Chicano art, were found to have characteristics of satirism, hybridity, and historicity. First, the satirical expression expressed in the Chicano tattoos satirized the corruption of humans and the confused capitalist society by listing the subjects that appeared mainly in Mexican murals. Second, the hybridity expressed in the Chicano tattoo mainly showed a lot of cultural hybridity, which showed the open attitude of the Chicano culture to accept external culture and helped to promote the Chicano culture. Third, the historicity expressed in the Chicano tattoo had many patterns that symbolized the brilliant Mayan and Aztec civilizations, or the patriarchal ruler or god of Mexican tradition. This aesthetic characteristic of Chicano Tattoo seems to have greatly contributed to the development of Chicano Tattoo into commercial art. Following K-Beauty, K-Tattoo, which is now gaining global recognition, needs to try to expand tattoos into a field of beauty art in Korea through research on the aesthetic characteristics of valuable cultural arts like Chicano Tattoo. The purpose of this research was to evaluate the effect of abdominal treatment on adult women with irritable bowel syndrome by examining heart rate variability, stress and gastrointestinal symptoms. A total of 20 female adults between the ages of 30 and 60 were divided into an experimental group(n=10) and a control group(n=10). Abdominal treatment on the experimental group was applied to the experimental group twice a week for 4 weeks whereas the control group did not receive any treatment. Heart rate variability, stress, and gastrointestinal symptoms of each group were measured three times, before, during and after the experiment, respectively. The data analysis method was descriptive statistics and repeated measures ANOVA using SPSS 21.0. As a result of analysis, there was no statistically significant difference in heart rate variability between the two groups. The stress response and gastrointestinal symptoms of the experimental group were significantly decreased compared to the control group. In conclusion, it was confirmed that abdominal treatment is an effective intervention method to reduce stress and gastrointestinal symptoms in women with irritable bowel syndrome.

This study classified makeup image types focusing on Genderless Cosmetic advertisements that were introduced in Genderless Cosmetic Brand, and analyzed Characteristic by makeup image type according to it. The results were as follows. First, 'Masculinity makeup' expresses 'Decadence makeup' and 'Smokey makeup'. 'Feminity makeup' expresses soft and womanly image of 'Feminine makeup', 'Romantic makeup' expresses girlish image and 'Sexy makeup' expresses womanly sexual image. 'Neutrality makeup' expresses 'Natural makeup' image. 'Androgyny makeup' expresses 'Avant-garde makeup' image. Second, the eyebrow shapes in 'Neutral image makeup' were equally shown a standard form, an natural pattern, a horizontal form, and an angular shape. On the other hand, 'Feminine image makeup', 'Romantic image makeup' had the mainstream as the standard form. 'Sexy image makeup' was shown evenly the thick straight pattern and the angular shape, arch shape and was mainly used the brown color. was not form and 'Decadence Makeup' had straight pattern form used the black color. The eyeshadow colors in 'Neutral image makeup,' 'Feminine image makeup' and 'Romantic image makeup' the mainstream as peach, beige, light brown, and pink colors. 'Sexy image makeup' had glittery purple, green, gold and blue. 'Avant-garde image Makeup' had colorful vivid tone. 'Decadence image Makeup' had black, deep blue in dark tone. The lips in 'Neutral image makeup' used nude pink, pale coral, beige. 'Feminine image makeup' and 'Romantic image makeup' had pink, coral. 'Sexy image makeup' were primarily used the red series and nude pearl pink. 'Avant-garde image Makeup' had colorful vivid tone and neon color. 'Decadence image Makeup' had nude color, deep red in dark tone. Third, 'Natural image makeup' did not highlight any specific section. 'Romantic image makeup' and 'Feminine image makeup' did fruitful blusher of coral, pink. 'Sexy image makeup' tend to give a point with glittery and pearl series to the lip makeup color. 'Avant-garde image Makeup' had colorful art painting. 'Decadence image Makeup' had not highlight because emphasis smokey eye makeup.
