1스마트폰을 이용한 균형능력 측정의 신뢰도 연구

Purpose The purpose of this study was to investigate the reliability with which static and dynamic balance can be measured using a smartphone. Methods Sixty_nine people participated in the study. The smartphone attached to the lower back and tibia. The gyroscope value indicated the dynamic balance ability, and the acceleration value indicated static balance ability on the stable ground and the unstable balance pad. Balance abilities were measured two times at one_day intervals between tests and retests. Results On the stable ground, the acceleration value of the tibia showed a high correlation (r>0.70, p< 0.05), and the gyroscope value of the tibia showed a moderate correlation (r >0.50, p< 0.05). The acceleration value of the lower back showed very high correlation (r >0.90, p< 0.05), and the gyroscope value of the lower back showed a high correlation (r >0.70, p< 0.05). On the unstable balance pad, the acceleration value of the tibia showed a high correlation (r >0.70, p< 0.05), and the gyroscope value of the tibia showed a high correlation (r >0.70, p< 0.05). The acceleration value of the lower back showed high correlation (r >0.70, p< 0.05), and the gyroscope value of the lower back showed a very high correlation (r >0.90, p< 0.05). All the measurements showed very high agreement (ICC >0.75). Conclusion As a result of this study, it was confirmed that the smartphone can be usefully used as devices for the balance ability.

Purpose The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of neuromuscular stimulation on respiratory system and cardiovascular system according to exercise load test time. Methods The experiment was performed in 20 experimental groups and 20 control groups, and a total of 5 neuromuscular stimuli were attached to the rectus femoris, gluteus maximus and abdominal muscles. A total of eight measurements before, during and after exercise were compared between groups. Results There was no significant difference in body weight before / after comparison between groups (p> 0.05), but body fat mass was significantly different between groups (p <0.05). Maximum oxygen uptake, maximum carbon dioxide emissions, and gas exchange rates were significantly different between the two groups at 3, 6, and 9 minutes after the exercise test. There was a significant difference in heart rate and systolic blood pressure between two groups at 3 minutes after exercise. Conclusion In conclusion, neuromuscular electrical stimulation could affect the respiratory system and cardiovascular variables, and it was confirmed that there was a change in body fat loss. In addition, neuromuscular electric stimulation could be applied for portable attachment, so it is possible to help weight reduction as energy expenditure would be increased while exercising.

Purpose The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of Bilateral activities intensive training on muscle activity, upper extremity function in stroke patients. Methods Thirty stroke patients were admitted to B hospital in Suwon, Gyeonggi-do, and the intervention program was divided into two groups, 15 for Bilateral activities intensive training and Unilateral activities intensive training, respectively. The intervention program was conducted four times a week for four weeks, and the affected side upper extremity muscle activity and upper extremity function were evaluated two times before and after the experiment. Results Bilateral activities intensive training group, there was a statistically significant difference in upper extremity muscle activity and upper extremity function before and after intervention. In the Unilateral activities intensive training group, there was a statistically significant difference before and after intervention in the upper extremity muscle activity except ant.deltoid and upper extremity function evaluation except MAL-HS. There was statistically significant difference between the two groups, in triceps and extensor carpi radialis in the upper extremity muscle activity, and a statistically significant difference in FMA-UE, BBT, MAL-AS, HW in the evaluation of upper extremity function. Conclusion Bilateral activities intensive training is more effective than Unilateral activities intensive training for stroke patients to use both hands functionally. Bilateral activities intensive training was more effective than Unilateral activities intensive training to improve muscle activity and improve upper limb function and hand agility in the distal upper extremities of stroke patients.

Purpose This study was conducted to identify the effect of kinesio-taping on the paretic ankle for balance and gait changes in patients with stroke. Methods 18 patients who met the purpose of this study were selected out of 100 stroke patients in a single medical center with 9 each assigned by block randomization to either the study group or the control group. The flexible kinesio-taping was attached on the skin of the study group patients. And inflexible taping was attached on the skin of control group patients. The tape was attached on the fibularis longus, fibularis tertius, extensor digitorum longus, and tibialis anterior muscle. The intervention was provided for five sessions per week for four weeks. The sway index, the Berg balance scale, and the timed up and go test were used to measure changes in variables before and after the intervention. Results In the sway index, there were significant changes in the study group with kinesio-taping for the paretic ankle and the control group with non-elastic taping in all conditions before and after the intervention(p<.01). A comparison of the groups showed a statistically significant difference between the study group and the control group only in condition 3(standing on a sponge pad with eyes open)(p<.01). The berg balance scale represented a significant change(p< .01) in both the study group and the control group. In the time up and go test, there were significant changes in both groups. A comparison of the groups showed no statistically significant difference between the study group and the control group(p >.05). Conclusion The above results suggest that kinesio-taping on the paretic ankle for 4 weeks has an effect on improving gait speed as well as balance.

Purpose The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of knee reinforcement training using neuromuscular electrical stimulation(NMES) therapy on range of motion, strength and gait in patients with total knee arthroplasty. Methods Subjects (n=24) were recruited and randomly assigned to study group (n=12) and control group (n=12). The intervention of the study group was conducted with knee extensor active exercise program combined with NMES applied to knee muscles for 30minutes, 5 times a week, for 2 weeks. Control group conducted intervention with same time and frequency as the study group while applying pain control electrical stimulation. Outcome measures include Numerical Rating Scale(NRS), Range of motion(ROM) and muscle strength of knee joint, and gait ability. Results After intervention, the significant changes were seen in NRS(p<.01), knee flexion angle(p<.01), and muscle strength(p<.01) for both groups, but there were no significant differences in NRS and muscle strength outcome between groups other than flexion angle(p<.05). In outcome measure for gait ability, significant changes were seen in gait speed(p<.01), step length, stride length(p<.01) and cadence(p<.05) after intervention in both groups. Significant differences in outcome between two groups were found in speed(p<.01), step length(p<.05) and stride length(p<.05). Conclusion knee extensor strengthening combined with NMES could improve pain, knee joint function and gait ability in patient with total knee Arthroplasty.

Purpose The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of quadruped exercise and wall slide exercise on the shoulder height and Specific muscle activity of college students with round shoulders. Methods Participants in this study consist of 20 college students. We selected students with a height of 2.5 cm or more from the table to the back of the shoulder acromion in a straight posture(supine) as participants in the study. Participants were trained for three days a week for 4 weeks, The muscle activity of the upper trapezius, lower trapezius, and sternocleidomastoid muscle, serratus anterior were measured using the surface EMG MPl50 WSW (Surface EMG) and difference in shoulder height was measured. Results The results of this study are as follows. Comparison of shoulder height before and after exercise showed a significant decrease. Maximal voluntary isometric contraction results showed that muscle activity of the upper trapezius and sternocleidomastoid muscle was significantly decreased and muscle activity of the lower trapezius and serratus anterior was significantly increased. Conclusion The exercise of this study is effective in decreasing shoulder height of a person with a round shoulder and increasing or decreasing the activity of the shoulder muscles. It can be said that to effective effect on prevention of secondary damage to the shoulders of students and workers who live in a sitting position, or to improve the incorrect position. In future studies, systematic and specific research methods are needed and the frequency of exercise and participants should be increased.

Purpose The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of eye movement training program on postural control and visual perceptual of children with cerebral palsy. Methods This study was designed ABA format in single subject research design. The participants were trained the eye movement training program for 20 minutes a day, 3 times a week, for eight weeks. Before the intervention is implemented, the baseline (A) data was collected. Eye movement training program (B) data was collected after intervention. Baseline (A ') data was collected 6 weeks after the intervention. Results As a result of the study, the postural control and visual perceptual were improved after intervention. These effects were maintained even during the regression baseline period. Conclusion The results showed that eye movement training program was effective in the improvement of postural control and visual perceptual. The eye movement training program would be the effective therapeutic training program that could be applied to children with cerebral palsy.

Purpose The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of short_term intensive treadmill training on balance and gait in children with cerebral palsy. Methods A total of 20 subjects consisted of 10 fast gait treadmill training groups and 10 normal gait treadmill training groups. Treadmill training without weight support was performed 5 times a week for 20 minutes and 2 weeks. Pediatric Balance Scale (PBS)), Timed up and go test (TUG), and Stride length were used to evaluate the balance and gait before and after intervention. Result The results of this study showed that there was a significant difference in both the FTT groups and NTT groups before and after the PBS change (p <0.05), and also between the groups (p <0.05).There were significant differences in the TUG change between the FTT groups and NTT groups before and after the intervention (p <0.05), and between the groups (p < 0.05). Before mediating in comparing stride length changes. There was no significant difference between the two groups (p > 0.05) in the post_comparison comparison and no significant difference (p> 0.05). Conclusion Short_term intensive treadmill training in children with cerebral palsy is effective in increasing balance ability and gait function, and FTT affects balance and gait more than normal treadmill training.
