As an independent education institution in history, the academy is a place that set up by private person or government for teaching students, collecting books, and refining knowledge. It originated in the Tang dynasty in ancient China, flourished in the Song dynasty, and died in the late Qing dynasty. The academy, which lasted for thousands of years, is a unique form of education organization in China's feudal society. The academy, which integrates the functions of talent training, academic innovation and cultural communication, is the center of culture, education and academic studies in the late period of China's feudal society. Through the unique education concept, the academy played a great role in promoting the talent training and academic and cultural development in ancient China. With the spread of Chinese culture, Chinese academy system has also been transplanted abroad, making its own contribution to spreading Chinese civilization, promoting cultural integration and promoting the development of world civilization. In the process of spreading the Chinese academy system, the Joseon dynasty of Korea occupies a special position and plays a significant role. The academies established and developed from the Chinese academy system during the Joseon dynasty also left valuable academy cultural heritage for the Korea. As a unique model for inheriting Confucian civilization, the education value and cultural significance of the academy have been recognized by the people of China and Korea. How to better protect the cultural heritage of the academy and inherit the academy culture for thousands of years has become a common problem faced by the people of China and Korea. The ongoing dispute over the application for World Cultural Heritage of China and Korea Confucian academy provides ideas for solving this problem.

This paper describes the characteristics on the life history of Korean language of a student who received modern education in the mid-1920s. It is based on a diary written by a student lived in Muju province and studied at Jeonju Sinheung School in 1924. The writer of the diary received primary education for about six years from 1918 to 1923. When he was studying in Jeonju in 1924, he was exposed to various regional language norms while interacting with speakers from different regions. The language norm used in the dairy was 'Eonmun Cheoljabeop' which was made in 1921 under the Japanese occupation era. However, in the diary we found that the writer had lived according to traditional writing practices rather than the two writing rules. This exemplifies the fact that education for Joseon language was not organized in school education at that time. In this diary, it is reflected various phenomena of Muju dialects. The writer showed an attitude to modify his local dialects' phonological phenomena, which seemed to be over-corrected. Nevertheless, there was no indication for a correction on the phenomenon of front vowelizing under the sound of friction. This indicates that he might consider its phenomenon as a trans-regional norm which was regarded among intellectuals at that time. He studied in Japanese at school, but used Korean language when he write a diary. The school he attended was teaching him to cultivate faith and ethnic spirit. It influenced him to write a dairy in his mother language not in Japanese. Even though he did not receive systematic spelling education, he made efforts to match its notation and pronunciation with his own heart. This paper is a case study that describes the Korean language life in the mid-1920s. Hopefully, the history of Korean language life will be filled the gaps through inductive researches including this one.

Humans yearn to meet with others to overcome their own anxiety, fear, or existential loneliness, and are extremely alert to separation. For this reason, the people have a lot of interest in various works of art based on the theme of meeting and separation. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008), a film adaptation of Scott Fitzgerald's novel, is a collection of dairies of her heroine Daisy's beloved lover, Benjamin Button, and her feelings of separation, reunion, marriage, re-separation, and re-reunion. As a popular narrative, film gives emotional comforts such as nostalgia, serenity, comfort, and relief with a aide-memoire of past traumas or as a reward for realistic pain. In particular, like the utterance aspect of therapeutic counseling, the descriptive device of recall in movies has a positive value, such as healing the inner wounds of existence and manifesting repressed desires. Daisy's recollection awakens audiences to the fresh, past, foolish, passionate feelings that have been fossilized in the flow of her life. Especially at the scene that Benjamin's peacefully dying on Daisy's lap, the audience experiences a blind spot of language and images that have never been experienced or manifested before. In fact, this film is an easy drama that can share the pleasure of a small meeting of men and women with the pain of parting without difficulty. In the story of Benjamin's postcard (letter) and Daisy's diary, the audience is embarrassed and confused because of the difference in emotion and the relativity of parallax. From a narrative point of view, Benjamin's time increases and conversely Daisy's time is exhausted, but from a physical point of view the momentum of their time is the same. As a result, there is a difference of perspective (parallax) in a place where there is no time difference, so the viewer's mental conflict is resolved by the discovery of a new world which is a blind spot of language and image through dialectical reason.
This study is based on the study of the youthful Benjamin, the aging Daisy, the Benjamin to the future, the daisy to the past, and the metaphorical metaphor of the alien Benjamin and the Earthly Daisy to destroy the discursive arrangement of time symbolism, and the disintegration of the terrorism and the codage of the object.

In many parts of Choseon in the 1920s, the performances of (girl) girl musical play group became popular. These performances have been influenced by overseas performance groups that visited Choseon at the time. In particular, the girls-centered performance group formed in Japan and Dalian had a considerable popularity and popularity, with successive performances in Choseon, Japan and China. However, it is difficult to explain all of the girl musical play groups that have emerged in each region of Choseon as a single origin. In addition, the fact that these performances have increased in areas where it is difficult to easily detect the influence of overseas performance groups suggests that other influences have also taken place. With the establishment of theaters in each region of Choseon, there has been an upsurge or sympathy performance in the area, and events to meet the needs of the local governments or to address the hardships faced have also increased. During these performances and events, there were also presentations and presentations of a group of girl musical play groups, amd it began to show the level of performing arts in the neighboring cities and other places, accumulating performance skill. This study sought to observe the process of incorporating the girl musical play group which was the amateur theatrical group, into the composition of the commercial play group around 1922~1924. Although not all amateur theatrical group or children's play group have undergone this transformation process. However, in terms of exposing this intermediate process the specific cases will be useful examples to explain the situation in the late 1920s or early 1930s, when professional appearances of girl musical play groups become visible.

At present, the corpus has entered a period of rapid development, the use of corpus in translation and translation studies is becoming more widespread, but the practical application of corpora in the teaching of translation in the classroom is still late, so we must develop effective methods to expand its application. In addition, there is no large French-Korean parallel corpus yet. The quantity of academic articles on the corpus is also relatively small, which means that the use of the corpus is not widely disseminated in the teaching of French-Korean translation.
The corpora can be used not only as a basis of study for linguistics, but also as a new medium for translation and translation teaching. The publication of an article entitled Corpus Linguistics and Translation Studies: Implications and Applications by Mona Baker in 1993 marked the beginning of the research on the use of corpora in translation and translation studies. The study based on the corpus is situated on two levels: on the one hand, the work on corpus, using concordancers, can be conceived as a new method of language teaching and translation. We are talking about learning guided by data. On the other hand, the lexico- grammatical approach makes it possible to reconstruct pedagogical grammar on new bases.
Translation based on corpus linguistics can not be understood as a linguistic discipline in the same way as syntax, semantics or pragma linguistics. The corpora contain performance-based data. But it is difficult to imagine real contexts in which a statement could fit. This study is also of interest to contrastivists, because of the diversity of translations. In this study, we will analyze the functions of the phrase-aligned parallel corpus in translation teaching, especially to introduce parallel-based corpus- assisted teaching in the classroom and perform off-class translation exercises.

To whom learn Korean for academic purpose, reading is not only capacity for understanding text, but also the basic means of learning as a medium of academic knowledge that covers korean literature, history and philosophy. In this paper, I would like to look into the process of leaning reading that implemented in classroom through the 'Press Reading' course for 3rd grade students majored in Korean in University Paris Diderot.
Based on Common European Framework of Reference for Languages(CEFR) and 'International Standard Model of Korean Teaching' of National Institute of Korean Language, I considered 'Press Reading' course for intermediate level, which corresponds to B1, B2, and Korean level 4 would be appropriate and decided to apply in class for 3rd grade students majored in Korean in University Paris Diderot.
As reading is one of the most important skills for learners who are in far different cultural and linguistic environments from their target language to achieve goals of academic purposed education in a short-term curriculum, I've focused on several strategies as in the followings;
First, 'Meta-Reading' strategy. To improve learners'understanding text in multiple aspects meanwhile increasing their workload, I utilized three different text materials in each topic for implementing basic-intensive-extension reading which is circular reading method that makes learners understand text with another text. This inter-text function could develop learners'reading skills as activating meta-cognitive and recollective ability. Moreover, leading learners encounter various version of materials in same topic, this method enabled to broaden learners' cognitive area of form and content schema of text so that they can understand better in each topic resultingly.
Secondly, I implemented top-down approach in reading since this is academic purposed university curriculum. While studying for basic vocabulary were given as homework, advanced vocabularies were provided as translated. This was intended to lower the barrier to reading as reducing cases(possibility) that learners get to avoid reading itself because of unfamiliar vocabularies( wording). Therefore, this strategy prevents reducing time to read and understand text due to practicing vocabularies and phrases. Learners, meanwhile, could focus on understanding meaning and main points of article in a very broad-brush way
Third, selected topics of text were universal and general so they can be commonly shared with learners. This had enabled learners could easily find relativeness in extended materials( articles). That is, as they had a chance to read French cases related to each topic in various type of text such as paper articles, internet articles and broadcast scripts, learners can use exclusively learnt functions and strategies for their surroundings.
Fourth, when it comes to assessment and finalization, I constantly assessed learners'understanding to coordinate directivity of class. Especially when it was needed, I let them to use their mother language to write or give a presentation to solve misreading that can be happened to academic learners in universities overseas because of differences in language and culture.
Lastly, learning foreign language in a very different cultural and linguistic context from native language, such as Korean to French, it is very important to expose learners to target language longer. Therefore, I provided reading materials and information such as 'AI summarizing-bot' to learners in shared networks of university, not only for the limitation of class in classroom to be complemented but also for letting learners to find materials and check their reading ability by themselves in afterwards.

The motif of the eye repeated in the Blade Runner series, which consists of Ridley Scott's Blade Runner (1982) and its sequel, Denis Villeneuve's Blade Runner 2049 (2017), allows us to look at three themes related to vision. First, the distinction between the human and the replicant through the eyes raises the question of what meaning the eye has to humans. Both films simultaneously reveal the view that the eye is a condition of human recognition and existence and the view that it is unreliable. Next, the fact that Tyrell and Wallace, who invented the humanoids, either have very bad eyes or do not see is associated with a sub-motif called 'blindness.' This series of science fiction films shows at the same time the Tiresian aspect in that they know the forbidden secret of creating life and the Oedipian aspect in that even though they look into the future, they did not know the consequences of the creation. Finally, the close-up eyes of the first part of the film, both in the 1982 and 2017, remind us of George Orwell's Big Brother in 1984, and makes us think about the problem of 'eyes and power.' This is to warn the arrival of a controlled society through surveillance, with the repetition of the sub-motif called 'the gaze of surveillance.' After all, relying on the vision of the Blade Runner series, not seen in Philip K. Dick's original novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? (1968), is not simply for design and special effects. It can be said that it is from various angles to think about the Western viewpoint of the eye in the SF movie which attaches importance particularly to the vision. And the overall negative view of the two films about the vision can be interpreted as a negative prospect that future society will still be dominated by ocularcentrism and thereby have a dystopian image. One of the implications of the Blade Runner series is that it deepens the motif of the eye that were not in the original work, thus further developing the aesthetics of cyberpunk that deal with the problems caused by science and technology.

I would like to analyse 'kadani'(가다니) as the relative clause in this paper, though it had previously been treated with the connective clause. This clause 'kadani'(가다니) could be decomposed into four grammatical components; verbal stem 'ka-'(가), retrospective mood '-teo-'(더), relative clause marker '-o-'(오), determiner '-n'(ㄴ). In this relative clause '-o-'(오) was doubly functioned as the marker of relative clause as well as the reference of the speaker.
This expression might be represented the discourse effects showing an exchange of civilities or politeness. If a speaker would want to change the expression which was very familiar with his experiences to the remote feeling, he should change the phrase '가던 나' to the phrase '가단 이'. In order to express a feeling of distance, a speaker would like to use a morpheme '-더-' as well as a general person noun '이' instead of a first person noun '나'. The relative clause '가다니' could express a discourse effects which intended to treat a person with respect.
Determiner '-n'(ㄴ) representing the precedent activity had implied the past tense. Consequently the meaning of the 'ka+deo+o+n+i(가+더+오+ㄴ+이(가다니)' would represent the speaker himself who had been going towards the utopia together with a lover.

The way to approach Kim Jong-Sam's poetry to the side of 'sound' is essential to identify Kim Jong-Sam's poetry world. To accomplish this, the task of organizing the basic data should be preceded. Thus, this article aims to categorize the aspect of 'sound' in Kim Jong-sam's poetry.
There are four aspects of 'sound' in Kim Jong-Sam's poetry. First, he uses 'sound' directly in poetry. This is a background to determine the mood of the poem. Second, he uses various terms related to music. So I realized that his intellectual spectrum on music was beyond his preference. Third, he uses the onomatopoeia, the predicate, and the noun. This demonstrates that use of sound images is not a primary dimension. Fourth, he uses speech in poetry. In this case, we can see that there is a relationship between how he creates poetry and how he uses speech.

Korean and Chinese belong to agglutinative language and isolating language respectively. However, there are similar grammatical elements of mood at the end of the sentence in both Korean and Chinese. And this kind of mood is called sentence-final mood. 
The one purpose of this paper is to compare the systems of sentence-final mood between Korean and Chinese. Sentence-final mood is realized by sentence-final endings in Korean while it is realized by sentence-final particles in Chinese. Mostly, Korean sentence-final endings and Chinese sentence-final particles achieve similar mood and functions. But in actual conversation, there are some subtle different semantic and pragmatic functions between them.
'-지' is one of the Korean sentence-final endings and '吧' is one of the Chinese sentence-final particles. In many cases, '-지' and '吧' can achieve similar sentence-final mood. However, they may have different semantic and pragmatic functions when they achieve similar sentence-final mood. Therefore, the other purpose of this paper is to compare the semantic and pragmatic functions between '-지' and '吧'.
