1공학중심의 융합프로젝트 교수학습모형의 교육적 효과

The purpose of this study is to propose a teaching and learning model that can effectively manage convergence education, which is one of the concerns of university education, at the level of course. The pre-collaborative instructional design stage is to prepare the operation of the convergence project course. It shares the common goal and establishes a team of relevant professors to set up the actual convergence project topic and establishes cooperation relationships with industry or community as needed. In the convergence project activity, students will be able to understand the learning objectives, learning activities, evaluation methods, and explain the subject of the convergence project by proceeding with the whole orientation. Students organize teams of interest and conduct learning and design activities on convergence technologies and present their results. In the educational improvement activities, professors will share the lesson process and results and discuss improvements through the improvement seminar. As a result of analyzing the effectiveness of the proposed convergence project based teaching and learning model, the convergence project experience has improved the cooperative self - efficacy for the learners and the results were confirmed that students perceived to achieve the expected learning goal and satisfied with their experience.

The goal of this study was to explore topic defining patterns of students in interdisciplinary Capstone Design Class. Thematic analysis methodology was used to examine 85 Korean college students' lived experience of project topic generation which is for interdisciplinary capstone design class and Individual open-ended survey for constituted the data sources. Findings show four contexts of student's topic defining patterns using thematic analysis including (a) one leader's directed problem representation, (b) team common decision making after brainstorming, (c) empathy with professor proposed issue, (d) problems offered to students by corporate or research competitions. Based on research result, I could suggest instructional strategies of Capstone Design Class of teacher for helping their students' topic defining. It was necessary to minimize the opinions of the instructors at the beginning of class and minimize the number of team members. And also it provided a lot of opportunities to collaborate with companies in the topic selection process, it will help to develop the students' ability to determine the valuable topic in project.

This study aims to deduce operational implication of R-WeSET program through women students in science & engineering and companies's perception and assessment on the basis of NCS key competency. The significant results are as follows. Firstly, companies and women students in science & engineering share a similar perception on importance of NCS key competencies. The programs should be reviewed and improved for women students who are truly aware of companies' needs. Secondly, the main areas of NCS key competency that are poor in companies' perception are 'positive thinking & drive', 'creativity & challenge spirit', 'communication skills' and 'problem-solving skills'. To enhance these weak skills, activating the actual programs such as 「Convergence Design Camp」, 「Field Adaptability Improvement」 and developing the new communication program are required. Lastly, most of women students have attained the satisfying result from 「Field Competency Reinforcement Program」. Especially, 「Industry Field Training」 shared the great progresses on all skills of key competency, hence why the progressive model should be developed in the future. This study figures out who's the right person for the 4th Industrial Revolution era, producing a meaningful result in order to change in the higher education system of women students and to grow human resources who will contribute to the community and company.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of peer tutoring and feedback on academic learning in university mathematics. We compared subject satisfaction and academic achievement between the test group and the control group. We classified the test group(82 participants) and the control group(134 non-participants) and then applied peer tutoring and feedback to the test group. The rest of the environment was the same except for participation in the program. According to results, it was confirmed that the subject satisfaction were significantly higher(significance level .05) in the test group, where the subject satisfaction were learning objectives and expectation, learning satisfaction, and learning effect. Furthermore, in the change of academic achievement, the rate of decrease was lower and the rate of increase was higher in the test group than the control group. The satisfaction of participants was 4.33(Likert scale 5), and this trend tended to be same regardless of gender, high school course, or admission process.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between post - employment job satisfaction and both short-term (4-12 weeks) and long-term (12+weeks) on-site training. For this purpose, 405 graduates who had completed on-site training (205 short-term, 200 long term) during the school year were surveyed. The results of the comparative analysis of both short-term and long-term on-site training participants are as follows: In both short-term and long-term on-site training, it was found that on-site performance during the school year did not directly affect post-employment job satisfaction. In the case of short-term on-site training participants, job match and organizational commitment were found to have no mediating effect on the correlation between on-site training performance and job satisfaction. On the other hand, in the case of long-term on-site training participants, the analysis showed that job match and organizational commitment had mediating effects on the correlation between on-site training performance and job satisfaction. These effects are not solely attributable to differences in duration of training; the differences in operating systems and the degree of preparation derived from these systems also affect the level of on-site training for students, businesses, and schools. This paper summarizes these findings and suggests the following improvement plans for on-site training in the future: First, short-term on-site training is required to establish a systematic basis in order to enhance students' preparedness level. Second, both short-term and long-term on-site training should improve the skills and field understanding for students' majors through systematic quality management during the training period. Third, it is necessary for universities to increase expectations and quality of short-term on-site training for all involved while simultaneously reducing the gap between educational goals and practice in this field.

This research aims to explore the relationships between academic writing ability and 'thinking styles' (capable of representing individual differences and diversity) in engineering freshmen in Korea, and to draw educational implications for the development of instructional strategies. (Academic) Writing is not just about conveying an idea or content, it is also about the representation of writer's self. In this perspective, there has been some research conducted on writing (process) and personality. However, to date, little attention has been paid to writing ability of engineering students and its relationships with thinking styles. This study was conducted with 127 engineering freshmen as well as 67 non-engineering freshmen at H University, and students' writing ability as well as their thinking styles have been measured before and after writing class for 15 weeks. Our findings show that firstly, there was a significant difference of writing ability by majors. Second, there were significant differences in freshmen's thinking styles by majors. Third, there was significant differences of writing ability according to thinking styles. Freshmen's internal, legislative and hierarchical styles scored significantly higher in writing ability than the others. And as for the engineering freshmen, internal, external and global styles scored significantly higher in writing ability than the others. Finally, there was a weak but significant relationship between writing ability and thinking styles(hierarchical & internal). These findings are expected to provide an explanation for the development of instructional strategies of writing (related) courses in engineering school.

In order to facilitate the process of designing a fusion curriculum, this study used the learning outcomes presented in KEC2015 to design a fusion goal dimension. The three dimensions of fusion education in the fusion curriculum framework are fusion goals, fusion approach and fusion context. As a result of examining the curriculum learning activities in order to confirm that the developed curriculum meets these three dimensions, it can be confirmed that it contributes relatively evenly to the fusion goal, fusion approach and fusion context dimension. In addition, it provides a procedure to develop the fusion curriculum through the concrete procedures and examples from the design to implementation of the developed fusion curriculum, and to confirm the result of the fusion dimension.

The chromosomes of all the world are the same in all 24 pairs, but the key, skin color and appearance are different. Also, it is the resistance of adult disease, diabetes, cancer. In 1953, Watson, Crick of Cambridge University experimentally discovered a DNA double helix structure, and in 1962, They laureates the Nobel Prize. In 1964, Temin, University of Wisconsin, USA, experimentally identified the ability to copy gene information from RNA to DNA and received the Nobel Prize in 1975. In this paper, we analyzed 24 pairs of DNA chromosomes using mathematical matrices based on the combination order sequence of four groups, and designed the Taegeuk pattern genetic code for the first time in the world. In the case of normal persons, the middle Yin-Yang taegeuk is designed as a block circulant Jacket matrix in DNA, and the left-right and upper-lower pairs of east-west and north-south rulings are designed as pair complementary matrices. If (C U: A G) chromosomes are unbalanced, that is, people with disease or inheritance become squashed squirming patterns. In 2017, Professor Michel Young was awarded a Nobel by presenting a biological clock and experimentally explained the bio-imbalance through a yellow fruit fly experiment.This study proved mathematical matrices for balanced and unbalanced RNA.
